5 nights Las Vegas for end of September including BA flights (American Airlines) from Heathrow with a short connection in LA, 23kg luggage per person and 4* hotel accommodation at The Westgate Las Vegas Resort (scores 4/5 Tripadvisor). Works out at £420pp (£840). Dates available at time of posting are departing 28 Sep and returning 3rd Oct. As with most hotel stays in Vegas you will need to factor in Resort fees which are around £28 per room per night payable directly to the hotel. You can flex the stay to 7 nights if you want for slightly more and also various other hotels available e.g. The Signature MGM Grand for 5 nights with flights for £543pp looks a good price for the same dates. Weather should be around 30 degrees at end of September.

good price, but would rather stay on the strip

Tacky................
Love Vegas. Cracking price. Hotel is a bit dated now and slightly off the strip, but it's not that far from anything.
BA will most likely screw you over before you even fly out
Once upon a time in Las Vegas..

My personal experience is 5 days would be more than enough for Vegas on it's own. Amazing place but, when I passed through on a bigger trip, I was sick of it after just 3 days .

The monorail starts at the Westgate it's cheap and you can get the strip in 7-12 minutes.plus if you ask reception they will normally be happy to give you strip view.

Did you actually step foot out of your hotel? There’s a million things to do!

I have been there 1/2 doz times and never get bored........Shows, museums, Freemont st, Grand Canyon (plane helicopter, even an hummer if you like) Shooting ranges, rent cars, rv’s Boats, wagons, marriage, fishing at lake mead, nascar, overnighters to LA, even had an evening drinking beer with a tramp at the storm tunnels.Would not recommend pawn stars shop....total waste of time.

As many illegal substances as you like, massages/hookers if that’s what you want.

Whats not to like?
Amazes me people say 5 days is too much for Vegas, same people probably go to some middle of nowhere hotel in spain for 7 days where there's not even half as much to do and don't bat an eyelid.

Yeah it's not for me. I saw all the big casinos and went to some cool places on the strip. However I'm not really interested in gambling and shows/tourist city stuff doesn't really appeal to me. Hookers are definitely not something I've ever felt the need for either. I'm sure for someone into all that stuff then it's like Disneyland.

We were on the end part of a Route 66 trip and to be honest I enjoyed being out in the deserts of Nevada or New Mexico or the small towns and open spaces of Missouri, Illinois, and Oklahoma. Santa Fe was the highlight for us, an amazing and beautiful city.
