Clicked link, saved my offer, directed to Nintendo, unable to login as is a different Nintendo login, logged in with Nintendo ID, pressed Menu, misc, Nintendo eshop, tells me to access with my 3ds or Wii u despite PayPal telling me I can. No way to link Nintendo and PayPal accounts. Realised how useless Nintendo are, closed tabs, £15 saved!

Great! Cheers OP! For anyone struggling you need to follow the link from here to activate on your PayPal first. Then head to eshop on Switch and try to add funds from PayPal. It’ll then email you with a link. Follow the link to enable payments to Eshop. Head back to eshop and top up with £20 from PayPal. Will add £20, but PayPal will only show as £15. Phew!

    1) cant sell on if pants
    2) costs less for them as dont need to produce physical product.

Nice one OP. I'm not sure what to use the discount on but I'm sure there will be something before it expires on 24th September. I will probably end up getting another indie game along with Steamworld Dig 2 (release 21/09/2017) to get it over the £20 and get the discount.

This discount also brings Lego Worlds down to a nice £19.99 price point.

Can be done through the Switch itself. Source: myself purchasing Sonic Mania at launch.

You just need to add a minimum of £20 to your wallet using the 'add funds' option.

The issue is many games are cheaper from other regions so for example buying Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is £22.49-£5.00=£17.49 or if you buy it off the Japan eShop it'll cost roughly £15.19

Nice. Expires on 25 Sep. I'll save this for Pokken

I think in the past if you saved an offer it didn't guarantee you had it so people saved an offer and then tried to redeem it later and lost out because the limit had been reached in the mean time. I've just bought £20 credit and it only cost £15, that is the safest thing to do rather than wait and purchase a game later.

Ah, ok! That makes sense, so in essence it's valid for the first 2,500 customers.
What an odd way to word it.

The offer is 1 credit, so it is saying that the offer can only be claimed 2,500 times

Except the Zelda Expansion Pass is less than £20. Maybe get the BotW expension and Kamiko. A nice cheap arcade style hack and slash puzzler.

Anyone had experience buying from different eShops to get cheaper prices? …Anyone had experience buying from different eShops to get cheaper prices? i.e Sonic Mania for £9 on the Russian eShop and Shovel Knight for £15.19 on the Japanese eShop? I'd do that over this to save a bit of cash, however my concern is that I'd like to have all my purchases in the one place on one account. Do I need to set up a new account and/or user on my Switch? Will I need to switch said accounts every time I want to play these games?

I did it with Sonic Mania on the Russian eshop. I went to accounts.nintendo.com (I think that's the one, it's so convoluted) and changed my location to Russia.

First of call you have to unlink your the two accounts (your Nintendo account and your NNID) at the above URL. Then go to edit profile and change your location.

You'll have to sacrifice any outstanding credit, then log back in to your Switch and you should be fine.

Buy and download the game, then go back and relink your account and change location back and I think that's 'all' you have to do. You may have to relink your nnid after you've changed your account to Russian etc in the first place, then delink it before you change back to UK, then relink it once you've changed it. It's not exactly a straightforward process!

I've Sonic installed on the one UK account in always use, and it's showing as purchased in the UK eshop also.

Can you not use credit in another region? IE double the savings?

Nope - credit is specific to a country's currency. And you can't have any credit in your account if you want to change eshop regions. This prevents you from loading up in pounds and spending in south african currency
    Great thinking though!

unfortunately not and having credit on your account actually stops you changing regions as far as I know. would have been great for the zelda dlc but nothing I'm after is currently cheaper using this deal

They also profit more as the game can't be resold and they don't have to share the profits with the retailer.

If anything digital games should be at least £10-£20 less. Y'd think that want people to buy more digital games, so they have more control!
