Not as good as "£10 off when you install Amazon camera in your bathroom" but still ok I guess.

What’s the catch? Why cold? Or ... whats Amazon Assistant anyway!?

The catch is that it almost definitely sucks up all your browser data so they can target more ads at you.

I'm not knocking it, tis today's world but I'll definitely be clearing history before installing and removing it straight after.

The only thing I'm frustrated at is that it is not easy to determine what data they take and how they use it - it's just briefly mentioned (although if someone can spend longed than the 1 min I did and finds anything on this let me know!)
Thanks - order cancelled - toolbar rubbish installed, order reordered, toolbar rubbish uninstalled

I am. In that space, I've got the thing that's always there about Prime members getting a 30-minute head start on lightning deals.

I would be surprised if it weren't sophisticated enough to identify accounts which have used installed it in the past and not even display the offer.

most people maybe not everyone

last thing i got off amazon was a 240gb ssd, and i only got that cos the total cost was .97p (with a £5 its been a while promo, and a £20 credit with amazon credit card, that when in the shredder and bin as soon as it came, the card not the ssd)

outside of deals like that, i have no use for amazon

Not bad, with the Amazon credit do they charge interest if you pay off as soon as you get the credit so to speak.

i have no idea, as i used my normal card to pay the .97p (they credit card was a apply for to get offer, and still is i think, not a use)

tho im sure like all credit cards, if paid off within the month - 51 days it would be no interest

as still an apply to get offer, no using needed

amazon.co.uk/Ama…CPJ

tho ya watch to amazon catch with it, they will add the card as your defeat payment card, so you have to remove it or change it every time,

as some of the reveiwers that are currently amusing me are complaining about

"I applied for this card for the £20 discount voucher. I had no intention on using it unless really necessary. Card arrived with the usual literature including ring this number to activate your card. We as I had no intention using it took the decision to store away and not activate the card. Several months later I used Amazon to purchase a couple of items and used my default card that I had previously selected. Suddely out of the blue I was being tchased by Amazon Newday for none payment. I contacted them to find out who had used my card as it had not been activated and was still hidden away. Only to discover Amazon themselves had activated my card without approval and altered my Amazon account setting up the Newday card as my default payment without my permission. Advising me that this was somewhere in the T&C's but couldn't say where. Consequently, I cleared and shut down the account.😡"

i love special people they so entertaining

tho ya if no used and removed as the defeat payment card on amazon, or paid off on time, than reall no issues with it just a free £20 gift card added to your account
