Wierd... EVERY week at the same store I have used the morrisons vouchers - but it has been hard. They ALWAYS call a manager over who says "of course they can use it".

Have to say though - it is a little embarrasing - mostly as the people behind think you cant read when using morrisons vouchers in tesco and holding them up...

Tesco Ipswich refused all of the morrisons vouchers - they will only take their own or Sainsburys ones!

Strange deal though - they are printing a voucher every day - all for the same week. They say "use them all to save £30 off your shopping" but you can only use 1 per transaction. That would also be a lot to spend! £180 in the week divided into 6 transactions. Hmmmm...

Can't imagine spending £30 in Lidl; you'd basically empty the store! Would be handy if they could be used at Tesco again (though it was far from straightforward with a couple of the Morrisons vouchers).

Thanks hun, I've made this hot. I've been meaning to get to Lidl for the vitamins and fish oil they sell, much more competetive than elsewhere with a good range so this'll come in handy. I also keep some of the mushrooms/sun dried toms/olives in olive oil handy and use them to cook (with the oil as well so no waste). They do huge de-seeded peppers in jars too which are lush in spag bol or chilli and handy if you've run out of fresh.
The telly controls on offer soon look good for standby too.

Just spoken to Tesco (0800 505555), and they confirm you CAN use this in any of their stores.
The girl did say to check with Customer Services at your local branch first though

I can't imagine someone seeing that I have bought the Daily Express, even though it is for 5 quid.

Still, it will be less embarrassing when I slip it in with the 120 quids worth of stuff I can usually spend there.

Thanks Babbler

Not suitable for vouchers being a heads up hence moved to deals ... HOT btw.

Posted it a while back but its gone all fancy da global now:-D

Great if you can use them at Tesco, don't understand all the comments about the reluctance to take Morrissons vouchers, i have used 12 over last few weeks in 4 different Tesco stores with only one query and that was because the transaction had to be done manually as barcode on Morrisons voucher was not set up for Tesco which is to be expected.

How long does the voucher last for? I love Lidl food and drink but I am going on holiday for 3 weeks next week.

Voucher runs out at the weekend (Sunday) on the one I've got.
Tesco policy to take competitor's vouchers - just like some of the other major supermarket chains

I used one in Lidls yesterday.

3 x packs 24 Charmin toilet roll, currently reduced to £5.99
2x 4 packs+2 free Lucozade sport,currently reduced to £2.99
4x Millionaires shortbread, currently 2xfor £1
2x Milk
1 bag of peapods!
I thought the first three items were a good price to begin with and won't go wrong, so to get the extra £5 off was a bonus.
There was also a further coupon in the paper to make todays paper 20p. So Tesco might see todays voucher!

can we use dis voucher in asda?

I work for Tesco and basically, Tesco take vouchers from Competitors within a radius of the store. So if you have an big competitor near the Tesco store, then they will take the voucher. So if you have a Lidl near your local Tesco, then it should be no problem. They also take the Sainsurys conditional spend vouchers, ie...spend £10 and get £2 off, etc...but not 50p off milk for instance...just the ones where you have to spend a certain amount of money. If you are unsure, just ask Customer services as you go in. Saves embarrassment. But most of the operators should know anyway.
