new of the world newspaper

Our local closest shop is the co op and its expensive. Even the reduced stuff is expensive. They always mark down the yoghurts on the same day. So its a packet with about 10 yoghurts with the same day,'so you have to eat them all in one day?. They wait till the same day before marking stuff down, even a thing like a chicken and fish!.

You couldnt do a good shop there. Thats why all the coupons. You get a till spit for £3 off a £20 spend and people just leave them in the shop. They even emailed me a voucher the other day for £2 off a £20 spend. I would be ok if they sold other stuff then food so it would be easy to spend £20 in one go, but its all expensive. I think one tin in heinz soup is 90p!. Next door its just 50p!. They could be a good shop if they stopped putting silly prices on everything.

Well, you will certainly need the money off @ Co-op prices!.

great had them last week as well used it in tesco.spent 90 quid 15 off.

Ooo a £5 voucher for Co-Op...

.....that will mean that it will still be £10 more expensive than Tesco or Asda.

Seriously why don't they just issue a "WE PROMISE WE WONT RIP YOU OFF" voucher instead.

How much is the usual staff discount ?

10% staff discount

Seems like different stores do different mark downs. I know stuff that i sell same day is marked down to 75% off ,day before 50% off.

you can use the news of the world co-op vouchers in tesco, gidabrigi?

i'll have to try that - i agree with the other posters who say co-op isn't very good for doing a weekly or any other kind of shop.

ours take any vouchers from shops that are nearby - not sure if all are the same, i used the M&S £5 off ones each week after Christmas in tesco fine.

thanks - i'll give it a try at the weekend.
