nah lol just trolling as usual. They had the 1kg Nutella jars a while back which were superb.

Back to the drawing board

Is there a limit on the alcohol you can buy with this? Last time I think it was only 1 alcohol item only.

don't think they bother to enforce this limit in most Lidls

Hmmm, does this include non-food items?

I very much like the lidl that is within walking distance of my office, great quality stuff and I'm grateful to them for disrupting and shaking up the supermarket business in the UK which was getting fat.

interesting that lidl are still doing these but ALDI aren't

I think Lidl are on such a roll in terms of growing sales, they don't want to stop anything that might be contributing to their success.

My Lidl just gets busier & busier, week by week.

With any luck they'll start taking Amex

Here Here, prefer Lidl to Aldi now. Aldi cramming too much into their stores. Netto coming up fast on the rails as well.

I often get £6 off £30 spend in Tesco and Sainsburys.

Don't think having a BMW necessarily stops you from being a chav in fact......hmmm think I'll stop there.
Nothing wrong with lidl, if one was to judge places by cars in a car park there are many other shops I'd be avoiding first!
Thanks for letting us know op, hot.

If you like HP sauce and think theres nothing as good, as I did for 50 yrs, try Lidl`s Batts Brown Sauce about 50p for 475gms I think the sauce is as good as HP was before HP changed the recipe. Did anyone Know that HP isnt even made in UK anymore.

I'm very fussy about Brown Sauce, depends what you were brought up on I suppose, but always HP, but not as good as it used to be because of the Salt Police (as if we are drinking the stuff). I'll give Batts a try, what's to lose? Cheers.

Gave heat (and no stupid comment)

That's a joke right.

If tesco was to merge with Lidl would it be called ..... Tiddle

How about Sainsbury's with Aldi would it be called ... Saldi

Every Lidl helps, as Tesco are always telling us

I've have the same voucher at Sainsburys, got it at the checkout last week after spending £40 in gift cards earned from answering surveys online.

The only problem there is that to bring Sainsbury/Tesco/Asda/Morrisons prices down to Lidl's you need something around £7.50 off that £30 spend anyway!

Great find!!

I'm pretty sure it's programmed in the till.

It's funny how the government is worried about salt in a sauce that you consume in small amounts from time to time and yet doesn't give a thing about schools serving pizza, chocolate milk and brownie for lunch 5 times a week raising one of the fattest societies on this planet.

Is this voucher in all of the LIdl branches instore magazines?

Up to now the instore Lidl magazine has not included the £5 off £40 spend voucher.

It's only been in the weekend National press Lidl magazine version which involves purchasing the newspaper.
Otherwise you could just go and help yourself to the free ones - the £5 voucher usually sells for £1.50 to £2 delivered on ebay

Perhaps someone has messed up at Lidl distribution and sent the wrong version to the stores

Or there's been a mistake - has anyone actually found one instore?

It's really difficult to spend £40 at Lidl. Personally I prefer Lidl to Aldi but think Aldi make a better job of their TV advertising and have a better website.

Where from, how?

Can anyone confirm this deal? Maybe it was local, usually when they open a new store or refurb one, they have such a voucher, but obviously not national.

Its in the AUG 2015 LIDL News

I've just picked one up in Wallington, south London.

it's in the back of the A3 size Lidl News, not the weekly glossy A4 deals magazine.

Can't photo, but the paper has a big gold coloured logo on the front accompanying an article on the Grocer Awards 2015. the voucher is on the back page (p12), bar code 20327651

DOH, weekly mag has the same logo on the front. Sorry.

Anyhow, stacks of them by the exit at Wallington. half a pallet load, I'd guess.

Yes, but even with money off vouchers in Tesco or Sainsburys it's still cheaper at Lidl and cheaper still with their £5 off £40 voucher. It's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.
