I bought a car seat for £99.99 (reduced from £139.99). They said I had to purchase something to take it over £100 (I got some pens)but other than that they were happy for me to use the voucher on already reduced items.

Only 10% if you spend exactly £100 or £50. Any intermediate or higher amounts will be less than 10% off. I think OP is correct not to state anything regarding % savings

But it isn't "10% Off" though is it, it's £5 off a £50 spend and £10 off a £100 spend (with lots of exemptions), not quite the same thing.

Although I failed my A-level maths, am I not right in saying £5 is 10% of £50??

Kindest regards

It's not just 10% off any shop, you can't take £65 worth of goods to the checkout and expect to have £6.50 taken off, or take £220 and get £22 off. You can get £5 off goods that comes to between £5.00 and £99.99, or £10 off of goods that are any amount over £100, so no, it's not a 10% off voucher.

Do you have any proof of that at all? Just that I'd hate to go in to the store trying to buy something and being told that it doesn't.

Ok, thanks for clarifying that.
Watch out here, they put the prices up when they do these deals. Did the one before where they gave £10 off £50, went back after to have a look around and everything was about £5 less so possibly didn't save anything
this witht he £100 reduction on the Millenium Falcon is very tempting.
They has this a few months ago. But heat added as it's still a good deal
So, can I buy something with the £5 voucher, go back into the store and buy something else with the £10 voucher?
