As in the title, £5 off a £30 spend,. Works on anything, so handy to use on the headline offers they have. You will also receive regular offers and discounts.

B&Q seem to be in a turmoil with their pricing and discounts. Removal of discounts for over 60s except gardening, crazy changes to trade discounts and an attempt at everyday low prices to name but three. The club seems pretty useless other than the joining discount.

At least you can go in now on a Wednesday without being crushed by the bus pass warriors.
I'm signed up to it, stopped emailing me any offers etc so its pointless.
They only seem to send me vouchers immediately after I've just bought what I need.

Not really a deal but I've joìned anyway, thanks for the heads.up.
Sort out the title, it's & not +
Handy, I need a few things from there at the moment, thanks

I believe these deals are account specific. Long term member and they get sent from time to time (though none recently).

Seems that you need to use it and then get offers. From their website:

"In addition to the welcome voucher you receive, you will also be emailed a voucher every time you shop when you use your Club card in store or online. You will also receive email versions of your paper till receipts.

Don't forget to present/scan your Club card at the till when you shop in store, or add on the checkout pages on diy.com when shopping online."

You buy stuff from them -> they calculate the profit (and calculate your value as a customer) you brought -> they email some of that profit back to you as a voucher to make sure you keep spending.
It's how it (and most of the other loyalty cards) works. The more you spend the more you get back, just keep scanning your card every time you buy something.
Also e-receipts are invaluable when returning stuff.
Never had a voucher in ages, seems like they stopped sending. Used to get one every time I shopped. The email receipts stopped also

They probably did this to be GDPR compliant
I was in there today just to pick up £3.50 worth of door stops and eyelet hooks. Got to the till, no contactless payment for my Android pay. That's COUNTRY WIDE. I wasted a 5 mile trip on £3.50 of gear because I didn't have my cards with me. B&Q are the only retailer I've ever shopped in that don't accept contactless in at least three months.
Thanks op also joined the club
I only used their club thing for their van rental, I didn't see the point of it otherwise

So on the website it says you put a promo code in, ignore that its a lot of rubbish. doesn't work. You have to phone CS and tell them about the offer and they ask your for club card number. Remember to make a b&q hertz account first.

They apply the offer so you can use it for every van rental attached to that account.

The number for CS is 0207 365 4199, hope this helps.

B&Q Club - the world's crappiest loyalty card.

It's atrocious - what is the point of it? (Other than data collection for B&Q of course)

DH has an account as we've hired a van for a couple of hours previously to move furniture, I shall get him to phone and do this, thanks so much
I spent £150 at B&Q in early August and a few days later got a voucher for £5 off £50, which I spent last week, and I now I have another for £10 off £100, so their system does work so long as you keep spending, but I do agree that if you stop spending you never seem to get anything these days, no encouragment vouchers or offers every so often like they used to do.
These diy stores are just so badly run. Wickes crap, homebase extortionate,b&q dull, expensive and the tills are undermanned . I wonder why everyone goes online now ?
Just got a voucher via email for £5 off £30 spend, given that I need stuff its not too bad even if it is only one £5 in my pocket is better than in theirs

As PAULTRD said, for GDPR they seem to have unsubscribed everyone. You need to log into your B&Q account and reselect "email" as a contact method, you should start getting receipts and voucher codes again.
Insider tip: vouchers scan multiple times at tills, but may be only used once online.
Look out for the B&Q leaflets. Our postman delivered one yesterday with a £5 off £25 in October.

I don't suppose I could add this one for £10 off £30

I think you are right. My offers stopped coming through.
Went into 'my account' and the offers by email box was unticked, re-ticked, bought a few bits and bingo...money off vouchers and receipts back to normal Thanks!

Tried this with their insulation discount offer online and In store, won’t accept the £5 off £30 or more as discounted already

That is not correct. It’s not account specific. You scan and then you get sent a voucher. The more you scan the more vouchers you get.

Why is the changes to trade crazy. If you have a trade card and you spend more than £250 in a month which is easy to do if you are a trader you get 5% loyal discount for all transactions until the following month. Spend £1000 and it’s 10% off. It works out better for trade customers as before the discount was only on specific items which where quite limited.

small wow Unless their prices are equal to or less than their competitors 5% or even 10% is an irrelevance. And they aren't so it is.
Removing the Club discount was a massive own goal too.

It’s up to them whether they wanted to remove the diamond discount it wasn’t a god given right and I think that’s what many people seem to forget! Nothing last forever. Sick of people whinging about it to be honest
Infact the diamond card was abused by many it was for the overs 60s making a purchase. I would see people dragging in their parents/grandparents for 10% off some of them looked like they were on their death bed! So I’m not surprised it was axed.

Nothing of valve. I’m stating facts your are clearly the one who has nothing valuable to add, your comment was absolutely pointless
Using online shops instead of B&Q will saves you the same every time you shop😄

I had their trade card for a couple of years. I received zero discounts on anything. It was a complete waste of my time.
Hot, especially if it works on the MacAllister deal, 2 power tools for £38 and takes it down to £33.
Is this for just new clubcard joiners?
