5%? FIVE PERCENT? Are you having a laugh? Are they having a laugh?
I don't understand people moaning that it's only 5%. That's 5% less than you'd pay normally! 5% less than you'd pay if the auction you were watching didn't end until today! Not everyone can wait till the next time there's a 10% site, wide voucher!

There's no pleasing some people - good spot OP

i'm voting cold ebay discounts below 10%.
sorry, I've become spoiled enough with all those recent 10% discounts.
Ebay discounts are never worth it at less than 10% as the prices are inflated to account for ebay fees. So cold.

5% more
I don't mind the fact it is only 5%. My biggest gripe is that it seems to apply to so few of the items that I have been interested in buying.

Nah yesterday it was 10% off. There’s major brand stores on eBay. I can’t imagine them having a rush at their actual stores with a 5% discount esp when prices are the same instore. It’s a poor show from eBay.
5 off :/ never seen such a low code before
Why do ebay keep these promotions 'secret'?

I missed out on the 10% yesterday because i found out too late and the seller had not got my offer before they closed. I just rang ebay to see if my communication settings were wrong but they said they don't inform "buyers" of these deals by email! He said they show the promotion on the home page (not today when i looked for the 5%) and i hardly ever open ebay's home page anyway. He could not explain any of this and thanked me for my feedback(!) Useless.

Mind you, i'll probably get 10 emails today with 'suggestions' and information on my activity that will go straight to trash unopened.
Does anyone know if this works on make offer and being accepted?

5% HAHA, shame on the hot voters
Holding out for the black Friday with lower purchase as items I want is £40
tryna buy a bed doesnt work
Tried to buy some brand new guitar FX pedals - didn't work... Says code can't be applied...

The OP states "Appears to be working on all items tested so far" - Ummmm... No... totally not true as it hasn't worked for people above either.

Just tried buying several totally random items - didn't work on ANY of them lol(!). Basically it doesn't work on anything - this 'site wide' code is garbage...

Most generic items are cheaper on AliExpress, many more than 10%off
