Also doesn't say how much p&p is!

Read the comments on mse. Looks like a bit of a scam.
People being charged multiple times.link

when you go to the website it's a 3 piece set for .99p, but the p&p is 7.99 or 12.99

i done research most are bad reviews and apparently they charge £10 p+p, still £12 for knifes is a good price

Getting cold because its the old 'magic knife for a fraction of the price' trick. These will be terrible knives and no 'professional chef' would ever use these.

The cheapest knife we ever got when i used to work in a kitchens was £40. That was for a small chopping knife and it was about 15 years ago now!

Link is to a 3 piece set, not a 5 piece set.

7.99 p&p on top of 99p :-S

Expire?? Link to the 3 piece not 5?

£125 worth of knives for under £2? - I have this lovely bridge for sale if anyone is interested..........

Just to cap off here these knives are quite low in quality they are extremely light and have hollow handles. they also are not dishwasher safe.
But on the plus side for me i live within a few miles of the factory and did drive down and buy my knives direct in person and was not over sold anything, in fact the girl on the desk was really nice and helpful, i can away with around 8 knives for about £4. If you dont want the emails then unsubscribe!

I was told that i would only be able to have the special price once though which i dont quite get as i get regular emails from them with the same offer.

Professional knives my **** .
I fell for this guff years ago and the knives were very poor
quality. No chef would ever use these.
Sensational deal.? I think not.

I can kinda understand the cold votes but I have purchased these knives myself and I must say that while they may not be 'Chef standard' they are certainly good knives. £10 for 3 good-quality knives delivered is pretty good IMO.

As for their customer service, I have heard it is terrible but if you're lucky like me then you won't have to deal with them.

N.B. The knives take a fair while to be delivered so try not to fret when they haven't been delivered within the first 10days or so.

Any firm naming knves after the star trek captain deserves "cold"

Tried this deal a few years back. Knifes took ages to show up and they last about a month before getting all rusty all over including the handles.

You can fool some of the people some of the time & some of them are on this site & they have been fooled and they don't even know it, even when they have this cheap rubbish in there hand & see it's crap & say well i know a chef wouldn't buy these, but they they cut burger's & butter in half really well, can you really blame these people for using these scams when the money's there waiting for them, by the way i have this piece of wood in a lap top bag i have the last 1,000 left only £150.00 each or buy 2 for £300 a bargain as used by professionals.

Who squeezed the jam out of your doughnut? I suppose I'm one of those 'fools' then? Look its as simple as this.. the knives are good, they're well built, got a nice weight to them and nice n sharp. They are better than any knives I have bought previously.... It's not a scam, its a marketing ploy to get your details so they can try and get further business from you in the future.

couldnt agree more. They are knives and they cut well, despite the negative comments. Jeez, its only £12 for 3 knives. You shouldnt put any knives in a dishwasher either FFS!

Had mine a year and use them daily. Just sharpen before each use. Too many snobs on this site

No junk mail either and knives arrived within 4 weeks and no rust spots either.

I'm sure some people just make stuff up!

The name gives it an image of a french chef preparing Michelin starred food in a little restaurant in Provemce........will sell a few more than if the name was Bert Smith, this conjures up images of some bloke, fag in gob, chopping up black pudding in cafe on the Old Kent Road.

so many fools like me buy this c..... professional disgrace

and pay 20 times the price lol

Yip, and they are 20 times better quality, will stay 20 times shaper for longer, are 20 better designed. I could go on..........

When will the 8p baked bean brigade on here learn that you get what you pay for?

I bought some Richardson Sheffield knives just over three years ago, which had the Grippi handles. They have started to perish so wrote to their customer service who said that because they're guaranteed they'll send me new ones. They have and they are better than the first lot I had
I wouldn't buy these knives in this offer though, seems like there's a catch, cant believe they'd be fantastic quality either. Surely they can't be making any money from this?!!

Unless you are a chef or have money to burn on globals, then these do a fine job for most household kitchens. I have globals and find myself using thse more!

Of course you get what you pay for. Would you vote a mini at £5000 cold cos you can buy a ferrari for £100,000 lol
