Looks a good deal - thanks for posting, Heat.
No brainer
Oos possibly. Could not complete transaction..
Got it thanks
Much better then Wuntu offer, where you need to load £50 for £15 (I fell for that)
Plus possible 12% quidco discount.
Not clear how to get the credit. Easy enough to set up account online and request card. Maybe just me but can't see where to enter Groupon code to get credit

I entered it as the promo code on the weswap site after clicking "Join Us". Nothing came up to say it had or hadn't worked though.
i have been using weswap for a couple of yesr now, unfortunatelly if you are left with few pounds worth of random currencies they will not allow you to exchange back (min transfer), so i amm left with atleast 6 different currencies worth of 20-30 pounds that i can not use. The better prepaid travel card is TransferWise, you can exchange any currency in your wallet to any available on the app within seconds and the rate is better.
Keeps telling me:

This order exceeds the purchase maximum for this deal.
Thanks op

If you want your £30 back can you wait until you are buying something substantial (£100 for example) and top up into each currency so that there's enough to switch back into pounds and spend it all. That way they don't have your money anymore.

Cheers Ketfil, appreciate the answer. I am a little confused however.. I went on their website and it talks about sending money - isn't this a little different from the WeSwap Mastercard or have I missed something?

Try using Quidco for Groupon, and Quidco for signing up for a card.

Try using Quidco for Groupon, and Quidco for signing up for a card.

Signing up for the card needs to be via Groupons link and it says you mustn't use any other referral links

the minimum top up is £50... then each currency has different min swap amount, like 6eur, or 6 swiss franks or 100 rand etc...it is a bit of a hussle. much easier to get a new more flexible card. if it is for less frequent traveller then it is fine, but if you travel to a lot of different countries, it may be a bit tricky.

you can do a bank transfer to weswapso you may be able to top up less.

Didn't know that they had a limit for each currency.

Best thing for you may be to do a bank transfer that will cover all the minimums and then chnage it back to £?
Kinda like revolut I guess, but a bit more limited

sure, it is all possible... in the end i transferred 6eur to swiss franks, then had enough to swap to south african rand, then back to euros... all in all lost about 3 pounds doing so as you have to pay 1,4% fee for each exchange (1% if you wait for 7days) it would take me a month to get money to euros... a lot of hassle for little money.

Where do you enter the groupon code on when signing up on the weswap website please?
Anyone know whether you can top up your revolut card using this card to extract the cash from the card?

MrMoneySavingExpert10 m ago

Exchange rates worse than revolut as well,

Revolut has real time accurate rates with no loading.

So technically every cards FX rate will be worse than Revolut.
I'm sure other cards exchange using the best rates automatically, without any of this swapping needed beforehand
