I feel your pain. From Birms myself

and me

Extending the runway did not help.
Does anyone know why the airfares from BHX are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more expensive to most other U.K. airports please?

Cassie93

and me

more profitable for RA, no real competition

dublin or warsaw? jeez. I'd rather stay in Newcastle

The governments has divided the country into 2 parts.
Part 1 - London & the Home counties (where most of the money is spent) an north of Watford Gap (Part 2) where most of the money is made to pay for part one.

way more expensive? Every year it's cheaper (yes still expensive and more so than the rest of the country) for my family to drive to Birmingham, stay in a hotel, pay for parking, and still save a lot of money compared to EMA flights at our local

They've carried it over to today, so if you missed out yesterday you can still grab a bargain today.

Don't do what I did... Paris BVA is a good hour away from Central Paris. The transfer is easy but it's an hour on a bus. Think it was about 50 Euros for 2 returns!

How was I supposed to know there was more than one airport? Haha!!

No east mids

No Budapest on the list

Off you pop then please.

wizzair is your best bet to Budapest (and Central/Eastern Europe in general). They have 20% off today as well.

I would rather pay the extra to fly from stanstead as opposed to luton. I got off the plan at 8:05 on sunday went through immigration (no hold luggage) and took the coach to kings cross and was there for 9:30. Plane to kings cross in 1 hour 25min as opposed to the last time I came back from luton in october it took almost three hours!!

However thanks for the info will take a look anyway!

Not sure where my original comment went so reposting...

There's nothing from Birmingham because airlines operate a hub and spoke model and Birmingham isn't a hub for Ryanair. Birmingham is a hub for Flybe (in the same way Stansted is for Ryanair and Luton is for Easyjet).

There are no special flybe offers at the moment (the one I thought worked previously was for 2015) - but it's worth keeping an eye out (or take a look anyway, you can find some pretty cheap flights leaving/returning midweek): flybe.com
