Hi all, I was looking for a cheap mobile service and realised the following: buy instore £10 sainsbury's mobile top up and get a £5 voucher. You can buy as many £10 top ups as you like until 7 august (but needs to be in different transactions not together)
Credit can be used for pay as you go or youu can buy a bundle. For example for £10 get 300mns, unlimited text and 500mb. If you considered that you are receiving £5 voucher that bundle only costs you £5. You can buy let's say 6x£10 then you would get £5x6=£30. That would make line rental for 6 months at £30. Also if you have an active bundle you get double nectar points on petrol and shopping.

Please carefully read terms and conditions:
To qualify for £5 off your next Sainsbury’s shop, simply purchase a (minimum) £10 Mobile by Sainsbury’s top up in store in a single transaction between 7th May 2014 and 7th August 2014.
The top up must be purchased in store in Sainsbury’s or Sainsbury’s petrol stations. Offer not available for top ups purchased online or in convenience stores.
One voucher issued per transaction and remains valid for 14 days – validity date is printed on the voucher.
£5 voucher redeemable in store only. Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given.
Only one voucher may be redeemed per transaction. Photocopies not accepted.
Voucher cannot be redeemed on the following products and services: fuel, cashback, saveback, vending machines, ClarksTM, other concessions and restaurants / coffee shops, spirits and alcohol, first stage baby milk products, National Lottery, Tobacco, gift vouchers, gift cards, prescription medicines, over the counter medicines, postage stamps, savings stamps, mobile phone vouchers, phone cards, e top-up, paypoint payments, charity products and car park tickets.
Mobile by Sainsbury’s cannot accept responsibility for the loss, damage or theft of vouchers
Mobile by Sainsbury’s reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time without notice.

You can use it as you please so if you just want to use as pay as you go you can. However for pay as you go 3 uk rates are still cheaper than sainsbury's even at half the cost.

I think you can use for pay as u go calls, instead of bundles.

You need a 3g phone for that, I have that as my spare phone, but the kids have cheap "disposable" phones to take out to higher risk venues and this sim is perfect for that. If they get nicked or lost then I don't cry, saves them losing their smart phones on contract and my having to sort it all out and pay the contract bill when someone has abused the phone.

PS The store credit lasts for 14 days, you cannot use it on higher value items like Petrol, top up cards, prescriptions, stamps etc. it is to be used on the normal consumer tat or groceries..... Still a good deal. I have £10 credit on one of the cheapest PAYG networks with good coverage and I will be using the £5 at sainsburys anyway.

8p min calls 4p texts ..... That's over 2 hours of calls for £5........... Bought a couple

So do you buy a voucher or use your top up card to qualify (I'm new to pay as you go)
