Highly recommend this at £5. Great fun day out - and very informative guides if you take the tour.

Just booked mine for New Years Eve, hope it's a quiet day!

This looked great until I phoned them and found out you need to add £9 per person for entry into the dungeons (so adds up to the same price for a family of 4 as buying online)

So this is a good deal if you don't want to go into the dungeons

Can you use the ticket any day?

adamwilko007,

Just checked the website and I am afraid you will have to use the tickets during the festive period.

Regards John.

From personal experience, you'd definitely enjoy the dungeons so it's worth it

You can't go to Warwick and not visit the dungeons. It's the second best thing there (after the jousting in the summer).

We went in the summer and the children really enjoyed it, is there enough to do in the winter? Many thanks

We live locally you could say. Been there few times already. Always enjoying the visit. Thank you, booked for Sunday

Make sure you do the Victorian school lesson, the actors are really good

Voted hot, just a shame it's the middle of winter. Far better in the summer when there is more going on outdoors.

whats the weather like at the moment - all the talk of yellow ice forecasts is scaring me to get stuck in the traffic pile up on my way from london to there and back on the new year's eve- still recommended? the price is tempting and have heard a lot of good stuff about the castle per se hence keen to visit

It is rather mild at the moment I'd say. Traffic... yeah... maybe travelling at an unusual time would help? Prepeare yourself to spend there most of the day too.
BTW, we have ordered our tickets for tomorrow and still no email? Anyone else on the same boat?

P.S I'd suggest anyone visiting check out St Nicholas Park for Parking. It has 241 Spaces with a Maximum charge £4 compare to the £6 Warwick Castle Charge. Plus the entrance is more grand as you enter via the roundabout with the large doors through a woodland trail.

Only £2 saving but worth mentioning.

St Nicholas Park

Thanks for this. Will check out that car park as well

Thanks for this OP! We are going tomorrow never been before!

Oh, we went on Sunday and the parking was £10 per day... But parked a few streets further and parking machine was displaying a message that free parking until 30th I think.
