In the fine print

  • Voucher valid 20th Jul-21st Oct 2018.

Anyone know of any good films out in that time? £7 per ticket in London still isn't cheap
In the small print:

Not valid for Skyscraper (before 9th Aug), Incredibles 2 (before 17th Aug), Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again (before 24th Aug), Mission Impossible: Fallout (before 23rd Aug), Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation (before 24th Aug) and Ant Man And The Wasp (before 31st Aug). Excludes Venom, Johnny English, A Star Is Born and Smallfoot. Excludes 3D Screenings, Premieres, Big Screen Events and alternative or special showings including Bollywood, Mini Mornings, Senior, Autism Friendly and Scene screenings.

I didn't see these exclusions until after I bought the deal, it's well hidden.

EDIT: Just had to ask for a refund because only the standard sites shown in the top half of the list is £20. The other sites are classed as premium (and they are not just London) sites and are £35.

I would've voted cold if I knew this because it's very unclear and I think Living Social/Wowcher is to blame for that.

EDIT2: Thanks to the HUKD team for editing the title to include the £35 price and making the premium sites list clear. Unfortunately 231 degrees was gained in 3 hours before this was done.

Not bad until i seen the exclusions on AAA films and our locals are either £4.99 or £5.99 so still decent if not bothered about the above films.
Nice find op. Heat added.
Take those films out and it doesn't leave a great deal of choice. Not voting either way
Nice imdb link of upcoming uk releases still some on there for me the meg,the nun, halloween, happytime murders, predator etc

A total con! £35 isn't that cheap considering all the exclusions.

Would be a good deal, until I checked the exclusions list! The big movies not on the list such the predator are not really movies I can take my 7 year old to!

Those are some really harsh exclusions... taken the shine off this deal quite a bit. Totally excluding Venom!? Never seen a deal on cinema tickets that excluded specific films before, that weren't Imax or something special.
Living social? Sounds like something for dole dossers to me
Can these be use in conjuction with Merrkat Movies?

It's disgusting how many films are excluded! Don't they want people to go to cinemas any more?!
Good price if you are happy to wait, but the films excluded make it pointless for me.
Deal price £4,everyday price at my local £5.99 or less. Thats the top whack new film price.
Newcastle-under-Lyme is a 'Premium' location - hahahah - its £7 a ticket at most there, nearly always £4 offers available from the back of local shop receipts and Mondays

Too many exclusions, voted cold sorry.
I've never seen Scunthorpe described as a premium location before. Heat for that alone.
It looks like there's basically a 3-4 week period after a films release that this type of ticket can't be used, which is why some films are outright "excluded", Venom releases in October and you have to use the tickets by October, so there's not enough time for the "waiting period" to expire.

What sucks about this deal is that after 3-4 weeks the number of showings any given film has at any given cinema drops dramatically from like hourly to maybe a couple of showings a day. So unless you can go to the cinema fork the middle of the day for the only showing of your film at 2.15pm you might find that you struggle to use these.

I don't get why they've put this delay on anyway, most of these "standard" Vue cinemas are cheap because they're empty. Saving an extra quid per ticket isn't really worth the inconvenience the terms and conditions apply.
Too many restrictions on the films you can and can't see.

NOT WORTH IT. Better of just seeing the films on vue mondays, or 2 for 1 tickets.
Waiting period is too long for the significant films - a 1 or 2 week max. waiting period would have been a fairer balance.
Fell for this before reading small print. Now have 5 tickets to see f@?k all

Glad you're sorted now!

Hopefully I'll hear from them sometime soon then...... when they decide to pull their finger out!
Living Social finally came back to me and flatly refused to give any refund or credit. The email response is obviously a standard one and doesn't recognise that the site listing was misleading simply stating that I had picked a wrong film. I hadn't picked any film and didn't say I had in my email to them. I'm avoiding this company and Wowcher at all costs from now on.

Shocking aren’t they

you get one code at first that you have to redeem (if you haven’t done this you can get a refund)

if you have redeemed you are meant to get an email with 5 codes which I didn’t get

i have it now after emailing
from memory select reasons as other, so you don’t just get an automated reply

I also messaged them on Facebook

If you can get a refund i would

pretty much can’t use it on any film
So i bought this and wanted to use it on Crazy Rich Asians this weekend but they told me I can't use it for this film even though it's not on the list of restrictions. Such BS. Even after I find a film that meets all those restrictions they can still deny you.
