Found 27th Mar 2015
Link goes to GAME (Reading) Twitter page, where the poster can be found.

Could potentially be used to get many reward cards with £5 on them.

Apparantely, it takes up to 24 hours to add the points.

Enjoy!

Sadly I don't work for GAME so don't know why it's not working. Perhaps try contacting them here via live chat: newhelp.game.co.uk/web…ame

How do you sign up via the reward app? It only gives me 'sign in' option

Just sign in using one of the ways and then once signed in it will ask you for a reward card number. If you don't have one you can create one on that page

That's what I thought, oh well, minor inconvenience for free cash! (hopefully!)

This tweet is amusing:

@crichton_b Hey, are you definitely a new loyalty card member?

Looks like GAME will try to ensure this only goes to new sign ups. No way they can police it 100% but looks like they'll try.

Failed to create the wallet account. ;/

Anyone else get this?

Thanks .. nothing like free money for me !!!!

Bit confused by this tbh. It's saying that when signing up you need to use the reward card number found on the leaflet. I'm not convinced that just making a new account on the app without using one of those leaflets as the reward card will validate the offer.

May give this a try out. Will respond with feedback after 24 hours on the credit.

Look at the poster it says 'follow on screen instructions and when asked for your reward number, it is on front of this leaflet' - it says this on the poster where the link takes you next to the QR code

Hot cos it normally takes about 10 years to get £5 worth of points. (_;)

Worked for me. Was awarded the £5 overnight so I'm heading into Game today to treat myself.

Not everything's over priced, if people choose to go to game and pay more then that's up to them, I buy stuff from game all the time and everything over the last year or so has been cheaper or the same as other places and free delivery plus cashback via Quidco etc.

so, it's still a persons choice to either buy instore and pay more or go elsewhere or buy online. It's like saying you going to buy a car and just buying the first one you see.

Often the online deals are in store too, such as a few of the current Easter deals. Also I've seen a few times where an in store price has actually been cheaper. In store prices for older (not that old) preowned games tend to be quite decent anyway so with an extra £5 off you'd be getting something for a good price.

Anyone tried this with multiple accounts yet?

They do sell £5 xbox cards though, which this is perfect for.

I signed up using my google account hopes that wint make any difference will wait & see

Signed up using facebook didnt get bonus, that was 26 hours ago

24 hours wait is over, didn't get no s**t. Was thinking I'd buy a £5 psn voucher with the reward points and then get tales from borderlands of psn store with that money.

I'm talking about instore prices being greater than online , then you start waffling on about free delivery and quidco for online orders.

There are other sites that are cheaper than Game , even before considering free postage and cashback...
the issue is that the prices instore are often greater than even games online company

Also that car anolgy are you broken?

Everyone knows that the in store prices are most of The time more expensive. See my above comment for why some people may still buy in store though. That's all there is to this.

24 hours gone from my end. Haven't got anything from them at all

Yup, it's a pricey place and I don't often go there to be honest.
Went in and picked up Link's Awakening DX on the 3DS eShop - £5.39 price tage to it cost me just 39p. Result

ive got my £5, thanx op!

Did you guys just sign up, or did you scan the QR code? Or did you have a physical leaflet with a reward card number printed on it? Because I tried scanning the QR code - didn't work - then just signed up with a new reward card no. But seeing a lot of people reporting that it hasn't applied, so wonder if I needed that elusive number supposedly on the leaflet...
