Why do they have to add sugar anyway, it's got fruit they're sweet, so why add sugar?
This looks healthy, but bear in mind it's 26% sugar.

... So in the end, I bought some cheap agave syrup to bake cookies :D.

I love these... I have ordered a few. As its dry, you can still eat this beyond Aug 20 expiry date.

The sugar is added to the dry fruits so the sugar acts as a preservative. The sugar isn't added to the muesli. I aim to separate the chunky fruits and wash them so the sugar is removed. Will take a minute or so.

That's smart .... But requires dedication!.
Not sure my lot has that in them...especially when they know it will make their delicious nom nom... Less nom nom!

Thanks for posting OP.

Jordans must have changed ingredients - as per 2nd pic on the Yankee Bundles site - box now says 29% fruit/21.8% sugar (i.e. 21.8g sugar per 100g).

If boxes that are delivered are the old, 35% fruit/26.4% sugar version, I'd send them back. If they deliver as shown in their pic, this reformulated version has 6% less fruit and still-high sugar at nearly 22%, but would be a bit more palateable

Not sure which one is correct :S.
I'm sure this was posted last week - I ordered and am half way through my first box!
ordered and thanks for posting
These are 69p a box in heron foods if you only want one and have the same best before date
the issue is that the use by date is not far away

I agree. I don’t think it’s worth it. I realise they’re still safe to eat beyond the best before date, but the taste deteriorates and you end up with boxes of expired and unpleasant cereal
just ordered, many thanks for this

Why? It'll be good for months past that date, if not years.
Very tasty

I’m happily eating cereal that got forgotten in the back of a cupboard and went out of date in 2018, tastes fine and no extra movements

Unless it contains anything that went rancid, you'll be fine.

A lot of our food is stockpiled and kept in storage containers, at certain temperatures and sometimes with nitrogen.

For example we eat apples all year around... They aren't always shipped.
Same for cereals..
