5 year warranties "at cost" from Co-op Electrical Shop e.g. £48 for £899 range cooker

Given how little time white goods tend to last these days due to low cost components and, some would say, 'built in obsolescence' it can make sense to get five year warranties with washing machines, cookers etc. However, these are often a rip off with warranties costing nearly as much as the items themselves! I saw on the Co-op Electrical site that they are selling them at the price they pay however, so they are worth a look when shopping around for electricals.

Co-op also pay dividend and you can get 2.1% Topcashback currently.

Yes, always shop around. The Co-op's prices are usually quite good though, so they are certainly worth a look when doing the comparison.
