Anyone not getting charged for delivery?
Surely, the total price is £33.95

Ah sorry forgot about delivery, will edit the thread now.

Good luck to all, but I wouldn't trust VERY at all.

Yeah delivery is £3.95 so £33.95 altogether.

Until they change their minds about the offer and take an extra £20 out of your account

There are a lot of Very sceptics on HUKD and some dreadful customer experiences.

I've personally never shopped with them, but would avoid purely on the reports posted previously.

I've spent over £1000 with them over the yeard and never had any problems.

Terrible reputation, but this is a great deal. Would be perfect for me, want to buy PS+ for a year and get Resident Evil 2 + 3. Not sure whether to risk it.

code works at littlewoods so £30 and free delivery

The issue where the vouchers are recharged is ancient. Shop Direct systems where updated to check eligibility for vouchers at the time of sale 3 years ago. Why do people keep bangin on about this oO

I personally hate Verys aggressive information slurping.
Just read their T&Cs before purchasing people.

very.co.uk/hel…age

For example:
Unsubscribing
How long will it take before I stop receiving communications?
For promotional emails and Telemarketing please allow up to 28 days to for us to process your request. For Direct Mail please allow up to 2-3 months.

Urrrgh no thanks Very.

Thanks for post OP but not one for me, the credit agreement and T&Cs are not worth the discount.

Just my 2 cents..

So where is it says that is for all and not for new costumers?

It doesn't but new customer codes simply don't work for existing customers.
This code was issued to a specific list of existing customers to spur them into making a purchase so if you weren't sent the code directly, you shouldn't use it.
However, I and many others have used codes like this before and not experienced any backlash.
Many, it seems, have had the code revoked, the discount removed and the difference removed from their accounts.

If you're no gambler, don't bother (_;)

ordered thanks, says £50 , but in my account amount to be paid is £30
Edited by: "zerowing" 6th Sep 2012

I went for it. Seems legit.
£20 paid back to your card...I hope..

If they charge me £50, I'll just return them for a refund. Worth a punt imho.

Ordered, but now that I've heard that they can revoke the voucher and take the difference, I'm getting a bit worried now

Exactly, and thanks to op for posting the deal.

I bought on the understanding that there was a £20 reduction as indicated in the order summary. If it is not refunded to my card they get the PSN cards returned.

People really need to have a look into this. Their T&C's state they take the FULL amount from your card and then give you it back. If your not eligible you think you have a great deal but they wont pay you back. As they do this its totally legal. By the time you find out about it you've gone over the return period too

I had same issue with some Ray Bans a while ago. Even got a managers details who told me it was fine and then they didnt pay me the money back at all.

Still going to have to pay for the return delivery aren't you? And if they don't inform you that they've revoked the voucher within 21 days then you can't return it surely.

Seems there's no way to cancel your order online, great.

im pretty sure the £20 gets given back as littlewoods/very credit instead of paid as cash back onto your dredit/debit card.

alright deal for people who where already planning on spending £20+ on summin from there, otherwise your stuck with £20 online credit note.

I've used these codes a few times and they've always been refunds on my CC statements

Banned

There's a banner on the main page which states you can use the code to get £20 off - the banner or t&c doesn't state certain customers only.

I just got a letter through with the offer too lol

Also, choose to have it sent by collect+ and no delivery charge it says in the letter.

I'm happy to pay a couple of quid to return them, worst case. If they haven't refunded the £20 a day or two before the returns period ends, I can always choose to return them then. Easy enough to deal with.

No it doesn't. If you pay by card then £20 will be refunded to your card. If you pay by credit account then the money will be taken off what you owe them.
