Oh cheers, then I apologise. I have no idea if this good or not.

Good price,so hot from me,they were around £36.00 in a couple of places about 2 months ago though ,did they put the price back up so they could say 50% off for Black Friday or am i being cynical? XD.

Tesco sell them with only 2 months movies and 3 months entertainment so i think this is a good price. £70 in my local Asda.

For anybody thinking of this you can get 2 months movies/3 months entertainment for £5 from NOW TV atm.

The one with this will be a code so you can use it after the one from NOW TV expires. Not stack-able though.

Sadly, only to NEW customers! I've just bought the £19 box from Tesco with 4 months movies.

I only buy a movie pass at Christmas time or during the summer school holidays.

What's the difference between these boxes and the 19.99 ones from Tesco?

so you can watch live tv on freeview via internet rather than digital signal?

Make sure you cancel the auto renewal/rolling before adding another voucher.

Taken from the T&C:
"Voucher expires 1 year after date of purchase. At the end of the pre-paid period month passes keep rolling unless cancelled (Entertainment Month Pass at £6.99 a month and Sky Cinema Month Pass at £9.99 a month)."

Is it worth the extra £15? Is it that much faster as the cheaper nowtv model seems to work just fine.. ?

No, with this box you can hook up your aerial and watch the full Freeview HD locally. Also this box is faster again than the v2 box.

It is faster but as you say the v2 box is perfectly fast enough, this also has a Freeview HD tuner in it so you can connect your aerial and watch live TV that way, of course the remote is pretty crappy for Freeview as no number pad to select channel, you would have to go through the guide and select that way.

Yes it is. It makes hell lots of different. I used to hate now tv due to poor resolution but since using this box it has been bearable.

Same price at Argos.

Most important of all for me is that you can stream 'Live' movies in 720p rather than only in SD as with the previous NowTV box. That's the only thing I'm interested in tbh.

fwiw just dumped my Film Pass and was offered 4 months at £3.99 per month.

You can’t record whole shows or series on the live TV channels. But with the NOW TV Smart Box, you can pause and rewind the live TV channels for up to 30 minutes.

On all other devices, you can only pause or rewind on demand movies and shows.

Do you need an aerial for this or just internet connection?

No, you don't need an aerial and the way I know is because my husband cut the wire on our aerial when he was boarding out the loft and now ours isn't working! (the aerial, not the NowTV box)

You do need an aerial for the live freeview channels.

Yes correct you do indeed need a normal working tv Ariel/antenna.

I thought you got both the movies and entertainment. Misread the title.

Will it only let you buy one box?

Just to confirm I have just put The Chase on live on the ITV Hub and I DO NOT have a working TV aerial. Please can someone else confirm this by unplugging your aerial while watching live TV on their NowTV box? Tthanks!

lol you watching the app though the internet

Freeview will need a aerial its pretty obvious.

There is no SCART or arial passthrough so you can't replace your current Freeview box with this one if you want to record stuff.

Just use an aerial splitter
