same price at b&m store too.

also at Home Bargains for same price...

Nice, I'll have to remember about these! Heat added

I dunno what this is but it says LED so I'm voting hot.

wo wo wo wo wo - a switch featuring ON and OFF!? mercy, I feel light headed!

waterproof ?

Seems about the right price for these but because its from Aldi everybody just assumes its a bargain....

3yr warranty at Aldi though apparently, very useful with solar lights

Thanks for posting op.

How many metres long is this string?

What are aldis staff like for returns out if interest? They throw my shopping at me as fast as they can so begrudgingly I can only imagine they look at you like you've excreted on their garden if you present them with an item 2 years and 11 months to return, or am I wrong?

That's not their fault. They've got a scans per minute target by management that they have to keep to.

I had an Aldi powerwasher with 10 days left on a 3 year warranty it broke last year but i forgot about it, rang them up got a brand new latest model 2 weeks later.

Didn't know that. What a ridiculous management criteria "how fast their staff scan the items regardless of the angst generated by the customer at the till"

Blimey that's good, did you have to physically return it or did they just say over the phone to bin it?

No they never mentioned it so i have plenty spares.

the ones at b&m stores are very cheap looking as looked at them Sunday so i would advise Aldi ones.

Aldi offer great value by running their stores efficiently. They scan quickly and then provide space for you to bag shopping at your leisure. It's a pity you are too stupid to understand this.

I'd agree they're obviously produced on a budget: I've actually got some of their 100 led ones.
The problem with most solar lights (particularly budget ones) is simply that the panel is always downsized to the smallest active area they can get away with; and although they're not the worst, you can tell they've done this.
Otoh. The b&m ones have a little extra in a flashing mode. (3 position switch rather than just on or off), and of course; you have the option of the 100led etc versions.
