Looks like its for first time use only (ie if you haven't converted points to a voucher on any of their previous promotions of this type ) ?
Excellent deal! Activated for me (though I don’t recall doing such a deal before). So, to put it another way, something for £25 on eBay will be half price I think?

I read that as well but I personally have, more than once, so thought I'd throw it out just incase "first time" elapses over a certain period, bit like new customer

Not exactly, as you have to spend £25 first, so would only contribute towards later purchase. Unless you can retrospectively add the new voucher in.

Thanks for clarification. So, if I had 5000 points, and spent them all using this on a £25 item, I would (after points credited back) then have 2500 points? I take your point, but I would consider that I’d got that item for half price in the end.
Ive used it before on nectar, but this activated ok.

Been saving up 60,000 points for one of these offers to come about. Finally.....

Any way to check if the offer is active? It says you have activated this offer, even when not signed in.

The link mentions a maximum of 5000 bonus points so I guess this is capped - a shame as I also have a large balance!

Noticed that after posting my comment. 1 time use only as well so can't break it down into smaller purchases.

You don't have to use the voucher in one go though - say you exchange points for a voucher worth £25, you could spend £10 on one purchase and then next week spend £15 on another.
No email and nothing on the app for me
Just bought a game yesterday with the ebay.it voucher aghhh
Thanks
Very clearly says on that ad that is for the FIRST TIME, yet the OP has omitted to mention that anywhere....... it is very misleading and should obviously be in the title of the deal.
this shows on the nectar account not ebay account presumably? nothing there for me
be careful guys the link takes you to the site which says you have activated the offer, but i was not even logged in and it still took me to that site, not all are eligible for the offer, it even says private users only, and when i spoke to chat they said only people who have received the offer through email are eligible

Yes, another good way to test the link is to open it up in a new private/incognito tab - it would always say it is activated even if not signed into any account.

As with previous deals of this sort, unless you have personally received such an email or through your nectar account/app, it misleads people to think they qualify for this offer when they don't.

Just a heads up to everyone trying to use this - screen shot EVERYTHING - the offer, the acceptance, your transactions etc.

The last two times I've done this, neither have tracked automatically and I've had to raise tickets with Nectar support who are worse than useless. You can only contact them via a chat app and a lovely offshore person promises they will sort it out and, in my experience, does absolutely nothing. You contact them again and they pretend they never heard from you, you never accepted the offer etc etc.

I managed to get one of the transactions sorted, but the last one I gave up after the third or forth chat session going round in circles.. Having seen similar reports of other people getting the same treatment, I don't think it's an isolated incident.
If you haven't received an invitation email then good luck trying to get your 50% of points back.

Clearly it wasn't immediately discussed within the deal, at all. Clearly there is no contradiction in sourcing your point from the image I posted.

Dear HUKD when I stumbled upon your web site from elsewhere, your description omitted any mention of cold deals or variables outside the spectrum of hot deals within. I found this very misleading and disappointing as I tend to be lead easily, like that one time someone told me to jump off a cliff but omitted the potential downfalls.

Yes perhaps it would have been wise to look over the edge first but I feel perhaps, like the need for additional signage at the cliff too, have you considered placing your 500 pages of complete terms and conditions alongside the URL?

But yes, obviously check its validity thoroughly.

Totally agree with screenshots, only had a Nectar bonus offer track once and I've done loads. To be fair, Nectar chat either issue points straightaway for small amounts or pass it on to another team who issue the points themselves (this was done for me on a previous eBay offer).

Always take screenshots for Nectar offers guys!

That's weird, I've had 4 or 5 ebay/Nectar offers either by email or the app and they've always tracked for me. I even have 2 ebay accounts linked to the same nectar account.

However, I would never click on an ebay/nectar offer found on HUKD unless I have also received it by email or on the app, as they would never track.

I would be interested to hear from the OP after the bonus points are due to be paid out, how many of his 4 accounts it "worked" on actually got the bonus points.

Personally, I do some offers found on HUKD as long as they are offers with no criteria shown on the landing page (unlike this one which says new customers only). Even though I figured they are unlikely to track since they are not targeted at me, Nectar always give the points on chat in the end.

Nectar tracking is terrible for me in general though. I buy cheap Virgin Trains tickets when there's a good bonus points offer on my Nectar app but it never credits me the points (my Nectar card is linked and I make eligible journeys).

I just clicked this deal and same thing, it takes you to the "Thank you" page, which doesn't mean it's activated. Normally you have to click a button on a page to activate such offer. I'm also not aware of any page to go visit, to check if the offer is actually active or available.
Yeah I get the activated offer even when I sign in, but I'm not risking it without an official email, I don't wanna waste points for no reason
Heat from me
Worth a try for me, I'm more likely to spend the money on eBay than sainsburys or argos and if I get the bonus too too then great! Vouchers valid for 12 months too. Thanks op
I don't need to buy anything from EBay at present, but have had this email. What I would like to know is it enough to just convert the nectar points to an ebay voucher to get the 50% nectar points back and then spend your nectar eBay voucher within the year expiry date on these vouchers?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.
What is the best way of checking this? I'm logged in and when I click the link it says congratulations offer activated?
Not got it but wish I did

The best way is to check to see whether if you had originally received a promotional email or through your nectar website account.

If you did not then, most likely you would not qualify.

As discussed in this thread already, the link would say it is activated for anyone, even those who are not signed in. It doesn't mean anything at all and may as well be a link to a jpeg of the page.
