Noooo - too hard and thin - get their usual egyptian ones instead, far superior and last years. They are 20% off.
    Avatar
Last year I bought this towel and the Egyptian one at the same time but found the Egyptian one much worse as the threads started coming off after a few washes whereas this towel is still going strong.

Ordered x3 bought some before Xmas at full price and are 👌👌

Thanks for the review. Sound pretty good for the money considering the cheapest towels cost only a little less!

Are these good quality? I can’t recall correctly but I believe these were posted in the past on offer and everyone talked about how the quality was ruined after a couple of uses (edited)

They leave fluff behind after some washes.

Replaced our old towels with these today. That said I've read a bunch of articles online about how best to wash towels - 30-40° and include white vinegar in the wash without fabric conditioner....
    Avatar
That's because fabric conditioner creates a sort of water repellant layer on the fabric it is mixed into while washing. It's good for clothes, but not towels because you want the towels to absorb as much as possible.

The distilled vinegar softens the water and allows it to clean deeper into the towels and rid of any bad odours.

Distilled vinegar is also amazing for white clothes.

49254703-Rjsup.jpg49254703-I6qDy.jpgThese are the Asda ones I mentioned elsewhere in the comments on this thread... I can't be sure they are 600gms but they seem nice and thick to me and are 100% cotton... Also a few pounds cheaper than Dunelm.

Why do you need both a Bath Towel and a Bath Sheet?
And who uses a face cloth these days? (unless you're Northern :p)
    Avatar
I use a face cloth. But I am northern. Never realised this might be a regional preference before

Will they be the same price in store, or is it best to click and collect order? I would like to check the colour shades before buying.
    Avatar
They are the same price in store. Some shelves are marked at 20% off but scan at the right, reduced price...

My wife came home yesterday with loads of towels, so I thought she had maybe stumbled across these in Dunelm..... but she went to Asda Living instead. She bought similar sized towels, also cotton (apparently) and paid less than these prices. Might be worth comparing with Asda.
    Avatar
I’ve bought towels from Asda and while they are decent they are much thinner than these which are 600gsm. The Asda ones I think 300gsm.

Lol asda, Matalan and Poundland have the same towels but cheaper by a pound or 2 each
    Avatar
Maybe they have quality difference otherwise we've got a few very cheap ones on Amazon

  26. Avatar
Thanks! Ordered, Quidco too, only 2% I think. But, the pennies make pounds (edited)
  27. Avatar
Ordered a mixture of colours and sizes. Have some heat thanks
  28. Avatar
Thanks OP. I started buying one new bath sheet a month in Nov to replace our old towels slowly, at about £30 a pop from John Lewis. Based on the many positive reviews of these towels in this thread, I've taken the plunge and bought 5 at once as these are so cheap. Heat added.
  29. Avatar
This towel Vs egyptian one? I assume all the Dunelm Egyptian ones are the same?

On Amazon we have even cheaper ones like half price with the same weight so these ones are really good? (edited)
  30. Avatar
how are these compared to asda towels
  31. Avatar
Got mine today and they're excellent
  32. Avatar
I received the ones I ordered but I'm honestly not impressed. They're quite rough feeling. Do they soften up after washing or something? If not, I think I'm going to return the lot.
