I would highly recommend the Source machines. No screwing the bottle in etc and it comes with a co2 bottle, tester pack and drinks bottle. Plus the SS25 works on that as well. Making it £36 pound. But for ease of use and style in your kitchen its worth itiv had mine since last years currys offer and have used it almost every day its fantastic

Had bagged an amazon black Friday one but then whilst googling to check the price came across this, got the £30 starter pack and used the code for in effect free delivery

oh price before vat

Bought the snazzy Revolution machine myself with LED touchscreen - lol

There's something to live at the back of your cupboard for a few years, so your sandwich toaster doesn't have to be lonely anymore :-)

Bought that monster pack, when I added five syrups it gave me free delivery making it just over £39 for the machine with sample pack bottles etc and 5 1 litre syrups

BARGAIN and to think I nearly paid £42 on Amazon in the lightning sale - phew!!!

Cheers OP dead chuffed!!!!

Our sandwich toaster is used loads. Now if we are talking about things in the back of the cupboard it would have to be our kenwood smoothly maker

We use ours every day, also our rice cooker, slow cooker, bread machine, sandwich toaster, though the last two a bit less.

Just depends on the person :-)

I've just bought a new one and ours is less than twelve months old! It gets hammered, so need a couple of new bottles, and the gas needs replacing. I'll sell the machine on ebay.

Serious questions here. Are these any healthier than the real thing? How do the cola and lemondae taste in comparison?

just a very expensive way to drink pop

We tend to just drink diet cola, which tastes just about as good as the real thing. Some of the other flavours are not great. They do Sodastream clear concentrates which are really nice, the cranberry and raspberry one is lovely. They also do fruit ones which are marketed as kids drinks and are supposed to be healthier, but not tried them, and they are twice as expensive.

We've also used ours to make soda to go in wine in the summer. We also once fizzed up some white wine, was as nice as some Champs I've had. Wouldn't do it again though as it went everywhere!

Thanks OP, got one!

Excellent buy. My kids have been on at me for ages to get one. Santa can bring one now ;-)

I hate this site.

Just bought with five flavours :P

Use ours every day make at least 2 litre bottles.

The machine + 5 flavours would cost £40. So I am going to sleep on it and decide tomorrow. £40 can get me lots and lots of soda!

Ha honestly the sodastream stuff has much less sugar than real cola etc

ONLY 6.8g per 200ml vs Coca cola which is 21.2g

if you drink alot of fizzy juice this is for you.
