Just received a discount code for 50% off membership. Works for either the annual or monthly. Less than £40 for annual was good enough for me.

I have a canary but it does not offer me the 50% code, I assume that the 50% code is unique?
I sold all my canary units when they changed the subscription plan as I felt it added to much to the cost/
I was sent a code for the same thing. Code was "GOANNUAL". I did sign up for it, very begrudgingly, because like rd3d2, I think they're taking the proverbial a bit by charging so much for very basic subscription services, particularly for people like me who have more than one Canary unit. Without the subscription, what you can do is incredibly limited and makes the cameras almost pointless. I'd followed Canary since startup, and naively believed this wasn't the path they'd got in mind. Had I known they were going to go down the subscription route, I'd have probably invested in another sort of camera system

So they waited until just enough people had bought their overpriced IP camera then hit everyone with a subscription package. Can't see them selling a huge amount from now on. Never saw the point anyway. Buy an IP cam for less than £30.
Sorry there was a code. It is 'wemissyou'

Whereabouts do you enter the code on the site? I've just cancelled my monthly sub to try rejoining using this code but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to enter it? Do I have to wait for my current paid-for month to end perhaps?

Yeah you will prob have to wait till the paid month is finished. Its when you are entering your payment details there is a box for the code.

I was on a three month freebie plan, and I used Live Chat to ask where the code box was. They said that an active subscription, even a free one, meant the box wouldn't show up, but they added the new code to my account manually so it should start as soon as my three months were up. I shall be watching to see if they honour it!
Code "GOANNUAL" still works :-)
