Thomann are blowing out a number of G&L Tribute models for around 40-50% cheaper than you will find in UK retailers where they tend to be around £450-500.

G&L are the company founded by Leo Fender in 1979 after he had sold Fender to CBS. Whereas Fender were content to keep their core models relatively unchanged, Leo Fender decided to continue improving the classic Fender designs under the G&L umbrella. For this reason G&L guitars are considered by many to be the 'last word' on Fender style guitars.

So, if you're after a Strat or Tele style guitar you'll struggle to do any better than these models at this price - they're generally considered to be of at least equal quality to MIM Fenders which retail for a lot more - but at Thomann these G&Ls are at Squier prices!

Yep, that's the one I bought! They're the US made G&L MFD pickups as well!

If you've bought anything from Thomann in the past you can write some reviews on your purchases and quite often you will get a gift voucher within 1 working day. I wrote 5 (quite long) reviews and got a 50 euro voucher which I used - in the end I got it for around £180 delivered!
are you sure they are made in the USA? as some of these models have been made in Indonesia.

im trying to find more info to post back, but be realistic. a USA made guitar going for £225??
I was referring to the MFD pickups - they are US made and are also used in G&Ls US made guitars.

The Tribute range is assembled in Indonesia at the Cort factory.

What are you disputing?
Good prices, shame the 4 cheapest Asats are out of stock though, I've been after a Telecaster style guitar for a while and prefer the look of these to the Squier ones. Might order one for the new year.
