No point ! Wait till the sale falls to 90% off! ... then it is worth it !
Sadly M&S "New and improved fit" doesn't fit my overweight body. The cut seems odds.

Too tight in the arms. My normal size mainly fits fine but is too tight in the stomach, going a size up makes it all far too baggy, and still tight arms.

The shorts/trousers etc. are even worse! Strange fitting. Not sure who they are modelling their clothes on anymore.

People who aren't overweight? Bid odd people complaining and admitting they are overweight but clothes don't fit them like it does for the models.

Wow - you’re very assumptive aren’t you? So, if I’m overweight, nothing in M&S will fit me? No. I disagree. When did I admit I was overweight? You’re an idiot. The fittings have changed, and perhaps not for my body type. I’m broad/large arms, large legs (I don’t skip a leg day).Never had an issue before.

You replied in agreement about sizings to guy who said he was overweight and the clothes didn't fit. Connect the dots.
I find the sale price tends to be in the hard to shift colours, the more mainstream stuff at full price. Been down this route several times - bit of a timewaster sadly
Just got 5 t shirts for 17 quid on my local one.. personally I like the new fit, I always found the old fit style too baggy. Give it a few more years on the beers and I'll probably prefer the old fit
M&S are in the **** with their clothing. Sacked their clothing buyer, not surprising as she prev worked for Halfords and McDonald's - they are really experienced in clothing! LOL

It was only last month they had a sale, just looking at all the stuff I ordered then at 90% and picked up on Sat 27th July!!
Really nice fitting shirts, one was just £1.99 down from 25 quid!
When I went in to collect lady said 'we still have some men's stuff on the rails at 90% off.'
Had a look and found another of the same shirt - so grabbed it! Have some more HEAT!

However, I won't be buying ...until the 90% off again!

Should have added I've been buying load of clothing from TU (Sainsbury's and Argos) ONLINE why? Comes nicely packaged, no one's tried it on usually as it comes all in its pre wrapping - Sainsbury's is a little bit of a con, yeah you get your Nectar pts added, but you have to spend OVER 15 quid. Not hard to spend that much, I know. But if you only want say a shirt, or one item under that minimum you can't buy without being penalised with a delivery charge.
Argos TU (identical clothing) you can buy something for a £1 and still do C/C with no penalty or min spend ( you just don't get Nect pts - big deal)).

What might interest those on here is some things in M&S are strikingly similar to TU in Sains/Argos.

I bought a 'Purple' jumper for just £2.25 (usually 12 quid) - too late if you want one, they've all gone!
Then looked at the 'Purple' jumper in M&S on sale at £9.75 down from usual silly ridiculous price of £19.50 (that's the problem with M&S, too dear by a mile, and prob why clothing boss got the bullet!).

I could not see any difference.
M&S say 'Pure Cotton', TU says '100 per cent Cotton' ie the same!
You make your mind up.

Why aren't overweight people allowed to shared their opinion? I've shopped at M&S for the past 20 odd years and have always bought XL which have consistently fitted me.

They have recently changed the fit, and no longer is practical for me, which is a shame as I've almost exclusively shopped at M&S for clothes ver that period.

If you read any of the male clothes reviews, there are a good number of people similar to me with the same complaint. M&S are free to style and cut their clothes how they see fit, but as a previous customer, it is frustrating they are trying to change for a younger market and ignoring a good amount of their current customer base.

As a nation we've been increasing in weight for some years, so cutting clothes for slimmer people seems odd to me.

Fat people buy clothes too...
I just came to see if @smallboi posted.
Keep checking as quite a few items that were out of stock last week are showing available now.
I feel like they have added new things to the sale. .. still at 50%
The 50% sale ended online a few days back, but decided to pop into our local store Tues at 6pm. Got some cheap fruit (not easy in M&S normally!). Then went upstairs and sizzling summer sale was now 90% off! Nobody in store hardly so I had a great time - how people had passed the bargains by I don't know. Spent just under 30quid and got over £300 quids worth!! LOL.
I'm lucky there were a couple of smart jackets £75 down to £7.49 - would one fit me? YEAH! Got trousers, jeans, baker boy hat, shirts etc. Really like the jacket and assistant said it's replaced by a new one. Now higher £79 price tag but nowhere near as nice looking. Even the assistant said the reduced jacket looks far, far nicer. No wonder M&S is out of the FT100 listing for the first time in their long history - they need to bring in some new people. The current buyers are useles imo. Mind you, do I mind? Do I hell!
