Can't you just say what basic adult (or partnership) membership costs, it's not apparent on the site, you seem to have to contact someone.

i have no idea how much it cost i know there expensive but estimated that you save 1000 pounds for 2 people membership and that is 50% than that means it would normally cost 1000 pound for 1 person so about 85 pounds or so per month i guess. I hate that they dont put there fees online, non of them really do except if there the really cheap ones.
Yeah i read somewhere that to get under £100 a month was a good price! Didnt bother reading any further although it does seem to have a lot to offer!
Does it have to be the Mrs or will a Side-chick do?
I’ve been a member for many years, prices are high but the facilities are good, however the customer service from head office is truly abysmal. Questions / complaints are completely ignored and the membership fees seem random between members. Their equality practices are also somewhat questionable.
If your interested in David Lloyd look into vitality life insurance. You get a good discount and it’s a rolling contract. Again it’s only at some of their gyms so not for all.
Just enquired about this offer. One person pays full price whilst the other person pays half price - so effectively only a 25% saving. The link to their t&c's for this offer doesn't work, so not sure if this is an outright mis-sell or not, but I definitely didn't realise that this was a 'buy one, get one half price' offer.
Actually, clarified with David Lloyd again after finding the t&c's online (here), and deal is worse than I thought. Normally, if you join with a partner, the partner gets a reduced rate (about 25% off). But this offer is based on two people paying full price and only one getting a 50% discount. Worked out as £11 month saving off normal partnership rate at my gym. So definitely a small saving, but nowhere near as much as headline offer would suggest.
Does anyone know if they ever do black Friday joining offers? My local one (Worthing) charges £70 pm for off peak, with times that suit me. Just wondering if it might be cheaper in November
