Better the Black Friday deal of £20 off

I got my PC from there and was very happy with it. They're really well put together, if you're not into the whole building a PC yourself thing. Bit overpriced though.

Are these guys any good?

After checking things out yesterday, a Ryzen 3 build with a 1050 ti, 8gb of 2133, 1tb, no OS and a basic monitor at about 550 (incl £50 off) is as cheap as it seems to get.

I may well take this one up.

I too thought they were over priced ,but I checked the components against the real price and your pretty much getting it built for nothing
the only downside is if you find the components on offer somewhere else on another website you loose these discounts

but what you gain is no hassle and get peace of mind that it will just turn up to your door working and have a single point of call should anything go wrong

the only thing I don't like about pc specilist is they advertise pc that you cannot buy they are either out of stock never come into stock or future stock but some how you never get a chance to buy them

I think they do it for footfall and hope you buy something else

Had several PCs and my current laptop from them, prices very competitive and silver warranty for £5 is a bargain. Couldn't recommended them enough

Yeah with my one I pretty much changed most of the components to suit anyway do they had to build it from scratch. It took a few weeks and their customer serice wwas superb. My only issue really was with them uses Yodel to delivr it. The idiots managed to lose it! They'e switched to DPD now I think though thank god.

I wouldnt recommend the laptops from them, i bought one a few years back, the Optimus VII

Sounds was terrible vibrated against the body, the screen was beyond light bleed it was pretty much yellow!, and the after support was a joke it took weeks to get it resolved and they charge a £35.00 returns fee.

here is an image of the screen, I was told this is normal and was expecting too much, by the actual support team, they also told me that my standards for audio were too high and should of used a headset.

Hello folks!

Just noticed this deal as i am a regular browser of hotukdeals and also an employee at PCS.

Unfortunately as this deal was a promotional code used for the EGX event in London between 20-23 Sept 2017 we're unable to accept orders using this code. We are only able to accept this code if original proof of attending the event is met. We specifically asked attendees of this event to present a picture of the leaflet handed to them to acknowledge the acceptance of this code. I am truly sorry for any dissapointment regarding this deal, but please be aware we're not like many other outfitters and keep our prices near to the bone all year round! The current £20 off code is completely valid and if you wish you're more than welcome to contact us on 0333 011 7000 at anytime for sales advice.

So you would lose a sale over £30? Clearly PCS don’t need the business

I apologise if it comes across as such, but please do understand this code was used at EGX for EGX participants only. If you wish you can call the team and we'd be happy to see if any movement can be made on any quotation. As previously outlined we do not typically have the margins available to produce such discounts year round.

Finally, the promo code was only visible at this event and not through any of our social connections or website.

Writing this comment from my Defiance III 17" from them, which replaced my older Cosmos II 15" (also from them!).
Both laptops are great, the Defiance was overheating initially but sent it back and got it fixed all free of charge.
Overall, I would not hesitate to buy from them again.
P.S. Remember to get the £5 Silver warranty.

I have had to send back my PC to PCSpecialist 3 Times this year;(
headphone jack, disk drive and hdd all keeled over on me and the first time they only replaced the hdd;(
nothing wrong otherwise, voted HOT!:D

From what I've seen, I wouldn't recommend it, I know someone who got insanely ripped off by them a while ago (£600 for Pentium, 4GB RAM, GTX 1050) and have seen before a "Minecraft Pro PC" listed before for about £450 with a GT 740, 2GB RAM, AMD A4 and a hideous case that looks like it's from 2003. Find a better place if you can't build it for whatever reason.

Not True.

I've put the code in. You have until 30th November 2017 to use code as why would you have a date to use by 30th November on the voucher. It was applied and presently in the system as a saved quote ready to purchase. So not sure why you are putting people off using it as it will encourage potential buyers to use it.

Plus I do find PCSpecialists very competitive as I've calculated I cant build it cheaper.

So still better than Blackfriday deal by £30

I wouldn't recommend Pcs.

Their builds are OK but their customer service is rude and horrendous.

I bought my PC from them last year, the put the build together really well and the process was quick, but I kinda wished I had built it myself as I could have saved a lot more money.

The last time they had my PC for repairs (which was literally this week) the email I received on what was wrong with it came off quite snotty, otherwise they’re okay(:I
