It's £1.99 for SD and £2.99 for HD. Nice that it gives the option, though.

Ah, I was confused because sometimes the price was consistent and others it wasn't - still fair prices tho

Absolutely. I love it when Google Play does these flash sales. I get to fill out my collection with films I wouldn't buy otherwise. Some of these are no-brainers.
A few of these titles you can buy as a hard copy in Poundland- £1 DVD or £2 Bluray. I mention this because I bought The Babadook a few weeks ago.
There’s a serious lack of 4K content on google play (that I can find anyway).

Close encounters is in 4K but not in the 4K category so there may be others.

Just chiming in as I have google credit burning a hole in my pocket
That's good, I spent the last time with her settling her down and reading a new book, so she seemed to be much happier by then once the decision was made for her.
Damn couldn't resist so went on a film splurge like my old DVD days:

Drive
The Jungle Book
Incredibles 2
Bolt
The Grand Budapest Hotel
10 Cloverfield Lane
Aladdin
The Babadook

40 quid tho But worth it for the quality
