Or hospital cleaners for example, who were privitised years ago by our friends the Tories so arent even NHS staff even though cleaning covid infected wards every day for a pittence

Now only £4 each. Banging deal - I’m in for a dozen
Any ideas whether tesco will honour it?
It says 'instore or drive thru' so it will probably be Krispy Kreme's own shops, not the ones in other stores like Tesco. It ususally is for their offers.

Tesco?
Not sure but they don’t usually honour deals that Krispy Kreme do
It will only be at the actually shops and not partners like tesco.
So if you live near to one of the 3 shops in the uk its great.
Good treat but you might need some critical service yourself if you got addicted to these.
Healthy food, one of the keys to a strong immune system. Ideal.

They should be thankful of the exclusion. Excess sugar is the last thing any immune system needs.
I am glad this includes police and fire service.

I think police have really been underappreciated in the peak covid times

'oo got the other 1/2???
so this is NOT for "critical services workers"...

... just the traditional uniformed branchs.

Our corporate email sez we are authorised "critical" as essential, a copy made available to be shewn to '5-0' if/when stopped, which is why we've continued working our usual 364 days a year.

mind you, as newspaper delivery folk we did think it was a p...-take to avoid furloughing and paying t'other 20%
Donuts and police officers are a classic combination
Yep.
Not for all critical workers risking it though??
Just the usual uniformed
I work in a prison and have a blue card but still don’t fit the above occupations
As if COVID hasn’t made the population more overweight, now keyworkers can get fat on the job

People wonder why the NHS struggles... Corporation comes first, NHS picks up the bills.

Most of them are donuts, the training between police & a lawyer is like South Korea & U.K. broadband.
Just emailed for a 50off code lets see what they say
This is pretty nasty stuff it's more like a periodic table. BTW how many ingredients do you need to make a doughnut?

Glazed Krispy Kreme Doughnut: Enriched bleached wheat flour- (contains bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), dextrose, vegetable shortening (partially hydrogenated soybean and/or cottonseed oil), water, sugar, soy flour, egg yolks, vital wheat gluten, yeast, nonfat milk, yeast nutrients (calcium sulfate, ammonium sulfate), dough conditioners (calcium dioxide, monocalcium and dicalcium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, sodium stearoyl-2-lacrylate, whey, starch, ascorbic acid, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate), salt, mono-and-diglycerides, ethoxylated mono- and diglycerides, lecithin, calcium propionate (to retain freshness), cellulose gum, natural and artificial flavors, fungal alpha amylase, amylase, maltogenic amylase, pantosenase, protease, sodium caseinate, corn maltodextrin, corn syrup solids and BHT (to help protect flavor).
Glaze also may contain: Calcium carbonate, agar, locust bean gum, disodium phosphate, and sorbitan monostearate.
Hi if I sent my blue card and get a code back. Do I have to then be present at the store or can I send my brother to pick them up for me?
Isn't obesity associated with a higher COVID-19 risk? Ironic.
Greg's nearly right....... anyone can catch it, risks seem pretty equal, what is different is that....

Obesity gives a higher risk of death and more severe disease from COVID-19
Heading is misleading as the offer does is not for all critical workers.

I emailed them from my nhs.net email address and asked for a code.

vip@krispykreme.co.uk

They sent the code the same day and it does not have an expiry date
Anyone know when this ends?
Y'all will need a critical care worker eating this muck.

At the hospital I work at the cleaners are employed by the NHS? And they get paid the same as a HCA, housekeeper or a porter the starting salary is a band 2 which is £18,000 per year plus when they work weekends or nights they get extra.

No wonder NHS Trusts are bankrupt as morally they are & thats wrong on taxpayers. Outside the NHS people do these jobs for minimum wage in the private sector with no pension let alone a NHS premium pension.

That's really sad. They didn't get any recognition at all. The deserve the same respect, recognition and appreciation.

I must say, it's a little disappointing the lack of offers/help these companies are offering their loyal customers in a time where a lot of them are unable to work during the pandemic.
