£50 off iPods and mp3 players when you subscribe for 12 months (£7.99/month) @ audible.co.uk

Audible.co.uk will give you an Amazon.co.uk promotional claim code good for £50 off the purchase of select electronic devices when you join the AudibleListener® plan for 12 months at £7.99 per month. If the product you choose is less than £50, you will receive the device for free. Use your promotional claim code toward the purchase of products sold by Amazon.co.uk at amazon.co.uk, while supplies last.

£7.99/month for 12 months = £96, so the £50 voucher gives you just over half your money back. Seems like a good deal, especially if anybody has been looking into audio books.

The list of devices that the £50 can be used against are here: amazon.co.uk/gp/…803

Seems like all iPods are included in the list (touch, classic, shuffle, nano), and lots of Creative, Philips and Sansa mp3 players as well.

You will spend £96 with only one download allowed per month. So after the £50 reduction it's £46 for 12 audible downloads.

Yea, that's £3.83 per audiobook, which is a really good price. Also, with membership, you get highly discounted prices on the downloads.

Its not a good deal at all. You have to sign up to something that costs £96, then say an ipod is £100, spend another £50 to get one. That's £146 in total - might as well just go buy an ipod and have £46 to spend on anything you like.

It's a good deal if you want to buy audiobooks. Ipods and audiobooks are complimentary products, so it makes sense to get a discount off an ipod if you're looking to get into audiobooks anyway.... and if you're not into audiobooks... well then there's no NEED to vote cold. obviously you have the right to, but -55 is a bit harsh.

Okay its a good deal if you want to spend £96 a year on audio books, but dont think many people would.

dont know about this deal but they offer 2 audiobooks free for signing up to a 14 day trial can't be bad

I already have the basic subscription to Audible, so rang to find out if I could have voucher if I committed to next 12 months. They said no, so I cancelled my subscription and took out another in hubby's name, got my voucher, bought an iPod for a birthday present and am very happy.

Thank you nme53 - H+R added.

This is an awesome deal! I was going to post myself hence finding it.

For anyone that uses audiobooks, they know this is a steal, since many audiobooks cost £15+ per title anyway, and aveage
One thing worth adding, (not that it will help with the perpetual cold voters) is that you can get quidco too! First clock through on quidco, then after the site is loaded cut and paste the new link in and sign up. For me I was already a member (so didnt register I just logged in), Not sure if that made any difference. Anyway I was not expecting to track, but today I got confirmation and its £7. This brings the total to £3.24 per title.

bargainous!

This is a good deal, not sure why it's being voted cold. It's aimed at people who do listen to audibooks or would consider listening to them, if you aren't one of these people then of course you wouldn't sign up but voting the offer cold makes as much sense as voting down a deal on a car because you don't drive.

I've used audible in the past and £7.99 a month is really reasonable if you like unabridged audio books as these usually cost you much more through itunes or amazon.
