People always banging on about rechargeable batteries don't understand - They are not suitable for lots of things...
Of course we know they are more environmentally friendly (just as a cycle is vs a car) and they should be used where possible.
It's all about choice and these are pretty good value for Alkaline batteries (although not for me as they don't have enough staying power for my uses)

Sure for things that are high drain. But for toys and electronics that takes weeks/months+ to drain it isn't worth while using rechargeable. Also end up loosing them in random toys that are discarded.
