Always this price but what a cracking price it is, buy 100 every year
Good deal. IKEA batteries better in testing but cost a little more. Take your pick!
Kinda seems more worthwhile to just buy rechargeable ones for this price. A lot less wasteful

People always banging on about rechargeable batteries don't understand - They are not suitable for lots of things...
Of course we know they are more environmentally friendly (just as a cycle is vs a car) and they should be used where possible.
It's all about choice and these are pretty good value for Alkaline batteries (although not for me as they don't have enough staying power for my uses)

Sure for things that are high drain. But for toys and electronics that takes weeks/months+ to drain it isn't worth while using rechargeable. Also end up loosing them in random toys that are discarded.

Yes they do...

Apologies, I was looking at AA not AAA!

Don't combine battery types.

I got the AA ones of these before very good value for the price, actually cancelled the 50 duracell I ordered from Amazon to get these at just a few pound more.
+ free £5 voucher as you're spending over £10 (when you pay online and collect in store).

I need to use alkalines still for old film cameras everything else such as flash gun use Eneloops and Vapextech. I will have 100s of energisers and Duracell so I'm not buying them but my point is not everything can use rechargeables as mentioned earlier by jgtuk and Roons.

So initial starting cost of £78 to get the 100 posted here. Hardly seems like good value.

For all those discussing the benefits of rechargeable batteries I'm assuming you don't have numerous children's toys being received from family and friends who decline to provide single use or rechargable batteries with their gift. These are a perfectly acceptable single use cell. Good price and can be taken to many place where they can be disposed of correctly at their end of life.
