No wonder they went bust at those stupid prices . £50 for a teapot?
Even £25 is far too much.

Great Post. Shame they have gone belly up.

It's only the clothes/ fashion side of things including their shops that have gone. The home stuff like this is still being made and sold everywhere.
Nice stuff. Never realised it was so expensive!
Her bedding range is amazing, expensive tho
Just frequent your local charity shops, and after a period of patience and tenacity, you’ll find much better examples of post 50’s tableware trust me.

Usually for under a quid or so too.
It's amazing how much money you can make rehashing the same old leaf pattern and sticking it on any thing you can think of...... And people... cough cough.... women pay a fortune for it

No, you’re amazing! Because your sexist comment is clearly the product of some very original thinking. (And yes, even if you’re a woman, it’s still sexist because the implication is that women are stupid for spending so much money on something that isn’t original... as if there’s anything in this mass-everything society that is still original, anyway. I mean, even snowflakes fall into one of only 35 different shapes, scientists have found. So, unique, but not that different.) But hey, good luck on your never-ending quest for originality. I’m confident you’ll need it.

You should rename yourself melodramatic
Men waste money on all sorts of crap but in my experience not this crap
I don’t take advice from people with limited minds who can’t do better than ad hominem. Go look it up.
I sell vintage items for a living and would much prefer owning 1950s/60s Hornsea, J & G Meakin, Midwinter, Poole, etc. to Orla Kiely poor quality imitations, and the originals are available for much cheaper and mostly UK made.
Lots more Orla Kiely items have just been added to the sale.Really nice for gifts
