    how expensive would one need to in the amp department for these to sound decent? got onkyo 9010 with dali's opticon 1s currently. in normal living room , no special placement or acoustics, would these actually sound any better ?

    I believe you have to bed them in, as you continue to use the M16s they’ll progressively sound better matching the sound you’re looking for with your system. I’ve noticed that from looking at a couple of reviews before I got mine and took the risk and noticed how there was a change in sound as I progressively used them.
