About everything is broken on my old DC07, even the seals are warping out of shape.

Any point getting it serviced?

69 inc vat - for parts/labour thats very reasonable

Dyson DC14 Origin on Dyson site with £50 off is £169.99.
Amazon site full price is only £164.95.

Just checked, and all vacs in the offer can be purchased for less at Amazon.

Freezing cold.

Depending on what's wrong with it of course - I considered this for our 15-year-old Dyson but it really needs more new parts than they're going to cover

Apparently they will change absolutely everything that needs doing in that £69

Heh ours needs

beater clutch
beater
seals
hose
short flexi hose

We had a few Dysons which died or lost suction and just bought a SEBO, sooo much better. They were described to me as the Mercedes of the vaccuum world (they're a German brand) and I must admit it's brilliant.

Our DC07 just packed up after just 5 years of light use. Safe to say this is the worst vac we've ever had. Won't ever buy Dyson again. Massively over-rated.
