yeah me to yesterday and it was from tesco, we spent £50

Is tesco paint any good? I find B&Q paint dry tacky so usually go for brand names.

I would be interested to now this as well. My father in law is a painter and decorator and swears by leyland paint, quite cheap in screwfix but i always like a bargain

No idea to be honest - if it's anything like B&Q I'd avoid it like the plague.

Can I recommend Wickes trade paint. It is extremely well priced and gives excellent coverage. I have been using it for years and would not consider any other brand.

I use Dulux trade normally, might give Wickies a shot if it's comparable.

in my experience as a decorator, most EMULSION paints are ok. Not really so much the case of the quality of the paint, its how you use it. As it goes for oil based paints, ie gloss/satin wood/eggshell i advise to use a good brand, dulux/leyland/crown. I always use leyland paint, very good paint, and its about £13 for 5L of emulsion.

also as it goes for the expensive high end brands, ie sandersons, farrow and ball, etc, dont bother go to your local leyand to get the colour mixed the same colour.

good deal tho

We love Tesco one coat paint. Saves so much time of having to paint twice. The quality is definitely better than b&q, even dulux! But may be not as many choice of colour as Dulux.

Can't really agree with what you're saying of emulsion, in my experience, I've used B&Q brand, and the coverage and opacity of it is very, very poor.

We've used tesco Silk Latte paint practically all over our house, lol. I've always found it to be really nice and would buy it everytime over B&Q or others.

We are now changing the colour though so off to a normal cream again

Bought a few of these using the £9 off £60 voucher posted on here. Similar price as own brand from most DIY stores if you dont mind the colour.
