I hadnt heard of them either until they turned up in Exeter. Their food is really good and the service is excellent for lunchtimes etc.

Good deal.
Have eaten here many times and the food is very good.
Just a shame they don't do the deal on saturdays altho i know most dont
They even have little plastic giraffes they give the kids ... which they love lol.

Thanks!

ive been to at least 3 or 4 of these restaurants all over the country and each one of them has exceptionally bad service

food is nice but it takes ages to arrive, deal is good but its probably them trying to win back people.

Good man - Repped for the effort!

More an overpriced burger bar, than a restaurant. Half price is the right price.

i agree its overpriced and half price is just about right (been to the Thurrock one)

Plenty of better and cheaper places to eat in and around London but for half price it'll do, especially if you have kids. Nice find.

Hadn't heard of them myself until my uncle took me to the Kensington London one about 3 years. Decent diner type place but well overpriced, these vouchers will just about bring prices back down to what they should be.

The naughties seem to be the decade of "premium product culture". A lot of places spriging up over the last few years with vastly inflated prices. Girafe, Subway, GBK, Costa Coffee / Starbucks etc. The strategy of these places seems to go along the lines of letting the people with more money than sense pay the full whack while having a constant flow of vouchers and offers ensures the more money concious, like many of us, aren't excluded either.

The furthest north is Manchester...do you think they will pay for petrol from Scotland?

Don't be silly, book a Ryanair/National Express/Megabus for 1p/£1 - the little things make it all worthwhile!

Good deal, the voucher is especially handy, so repped further. I won't be going for as I managed (for the 1st time ever) to cook a Corn on the Cob stew tonite, which themselves cost 57p from Lidl - or was it Aldi - a couple of weeks back (had been frozen). Whole meal for 5 was under a Quid - Jamie eat your kidneys out...

While eating out is fun, even at 50% off they cannot compete with home cooking on price, quality (or maybe even service!).

I will wait till they drop their prices a bit more, before hunting for a 50% off, as from the hilarious (non-Exeter) comments, seems worth a punt...

Just been to Giraffe and they have a half price deal on drinks at certain times. Cannot remember the intricacies of the deal.
