are these a decent company? The T& C's always look complicated with motor-home hire...also i cannot find the daily mileage limits?

Seems a nice price

daily mileage is 100 miles ie 7 days 700 miles it says on their website

"Must be booked before April 9, applicable for any week long period until June 9."

"Insurance Excess means a £1250 excess is payable per incident by the hirer, if the estimated cost of repair for each incident exceeds this amount. In the event of an incident, we reserve the right to charge the Insurance Excess, Insurance Administration Fee & Associated Costs to the Authorised Credit Card.
Insurance Administration Fee means a fee may be applied to any claims or losses arising from a period hire.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) means an Optional Extra cover that may be purchased at the rate of £15 per day, per driver reducing the Insurance Excess liability from £1250 to £120 "

Seems OK to me. Hot if dates suit you.

pretty limited to what you can do ? couple of hours down the road puts me off....

not much use for a trip from Birmingham to Scotland then!

£1.15 per mile if you go over !

unbeatablehire.com/cha…le/

the more i read the terms , the more i'm put off

Tyre damage. Any damage found to tyres will incur a replcement tyre charge fee of £250 per tyre

Windscreen damage. If the windscreen is found scratched or chipped, the replacement windscreen fee is £495.

Whats the insurance for then?

Also only seems to be Medium and Large available through the voucher so actually from £2.49. Shame really as I would love to try out a week in a motorhome and this seemed like a good deal but the t&c are off-putting...

Had a hire van this week at work, in the 1st 3 days... 1 cracked screen 1 one New tyre... would be an expensive weekend (not so far!) away (_;)... travel lodge £29

If you want to try Motorhoming then this is an ideal offer. I have owned a large Hymer 'A' Class and can understand some of the T&C's. These are expensive vehicles and have to be well looked after, they aren't 4x4's to be taken up unmade roads - they should be treated kindly. The small vehicles are so tiny they really only work if you can sit outside in good weather, the medium ones have more functionality and the large size is for big family use. So try the medium size. The vehicles offered are French (I think) and are produced in large numbers and seem to be fairly well specified. Motorhoming isn't for everyone and this is a very cheap way to see if you like it. 700 miles for a week seems reasonable - if you intend spending all day everyday driving about then you shouldn't have a motorhome!

Hmmmmm. Misleading ad I think, because the actual discount is not 50%. It says £299 for a large van. And yet I went into their site direct and got quoted £495 for 1 week in May with a large van. Now 50% of £495 isn't £299 is it?

Anyone actually booked one yet ?

I would be interested to hear of anyone's experience of using this company, as it is a good deal....or any other motor home hire companies that could be recomended.

Interesting bt the

Interesting but the T&C are of
