There are nine different lungos and espressos, to choose from, including a pretty decent decaf . All are roasted in the UK and compatible with all home-use Nespresso machines

Are these any good - anyone tried them? All compatibles I've tried aren't as good as the original Nespresso ones.

What about the price difference? How much do these work out per capsule?

I've tried the Dolce Gusto compatible ones and they tasted fine but I found the pods got stuck in the machine a couple of times and I had to fight to get them out.
I've tried a couple including the '12' intensity rated supercharger. They are a better alternative to most of the other non nespresso ones I've tried and I've had no problems with the capsules themselves.
Anyone recommend something that would work with a Tassimo please?

Subscription wise would be good, even bulk buy, thanks

Going to give these a try, thanks op
Are the pods recyclable like the Nespresso pods?
Struggling with checkout here
Nice deal, went for the 80 pod pack and got one of every flavour except the decaf for £10.47 delivered.

That's my coffee for the month sorted.
Great deal. Can I cancel subscription straight away or should I wait until first order has been delivered? Don't want to cancel and find my first order has also been cancelled
They are the best of the compatible bunch but not as good as the Nespresso.
If 50% off then that should more than compensate.
I went for 10 of each excluding decaf. I would normally only go for the 12 or the 10 if 12 not available so it will give me a chance to try all their range.
Hot !

Personally they don’t work or taste as well as the original ones, i bought some but ended up telling the missus to use them for her friends when they come round.

The nespresso vanilla amaretti is going down a treat at the mo.
Not much information about the subscription, can i cancel it after the first order? If so, what is the T&C?

Each to their own but strongly disagree. I used Taylors all the time when I had a filter machine but tried their capsules recently on the half price offer and wasn't impressed! Strange taste and worse was they were weak as water

My experience too!
I've tried Cafe Pod before but was really disappointed with the flavour. The only non-Nespresso pods that have even come close (for me at least) are the Carte Noire ones.

Thanks for the info - I see Carte Noir are available to subscribe and save on Amazon, so I may give them a try. Heat anyway, OP.

What do peeps make of Lidl's compatible?

Awesome Find, 80 capsules for £10
Anyone else having trouble checking out? Had a spinning circle for the past 10 minutes.
I quite liked the 8 or 9 strength ones we have at home. Prefered them to the nespresso one's so I'm definitely tempted. For info these aren't metal like the nespresso ones so don't need recycling. Instead they are sealed in little foil packets. Once the packet is open the bottom of the capsule has small holes in the bottom to let the coffee out (not punched through like the originals) so only open them when you want a coffee.

I called them. Seems they are having some issues with Chrome. Switched to I.E. and it went straight through.

You can just do it in your account. I think you log in, scroll to the bottom and there's an option to cancel subscription. It's definitely in there somewhere because I've done it.
Ordered 80 on Thursday night and arrived Saturday. All nicely packaged and well presented. Logged into my account and cancelled subscription without hassle. Happy days.

Cheers pal, just seen I have an email to set my account up, will do this then cancel
These are poor compared to the originals. I have tried many of these compatible pods (including these ones) but the few pennies saved doesn't make up for the lack of quality.

Totally agree, not even close to the quality of the nespresso coffee or the actual pods themselves.
I recommend the Gourmesso pods as a cheaper alternative. Can buy 100 on amazon for £22-27 and for me they are a great and cheaper alternative to nespresso
pods the ink cartridge's of the coffee world
I like my coffee and I have tried several 'Nespresso' compatible brands. I find the Cafe Pod ones to be the best alternative to the vastly overpriced Nespresso pods themselves. Normally a pack of 10 Cafe Pods is around £2.50, so to get 80 of them for £10 is a proper bargain. Their Livewire and Ristretto ones are really good if you haven't tried them before, definitely worth a punt at this price.
Originals being 28-32p/pod I dont feel is bad value. Yes, these are a bit less at 25p (without this offer) but that 3-7p is worth it for the quality coffee Nespresso provides.

Now, the case here of 80 for a tenner is a bit harder because at 8p/pod they are good enough for guests so as not to use up the good ones on them haha.
