Spotted in my Tesco Extra last night. Several packs on the shelf. NOT a yellow sticker clearance line; these were in the computers section with a standard shelf edge price sticker.

Reduced from £17something down to £4.97. It's a deal, it's a steal.

To be clear, these were PLUS format discs.

This was in the Wath-upon-dearne store, about 4 miles away! :w00t:

I got some of these from Tescos a couple of weeks ago.

Nothing wrong with them as far as I can tell, just can't burn them at the minute!

My writer is obviously too old and won't recognise them, can't seem to find software that will either.

I thought they were cheap when I bought them, but if I end up buying another drive then they won't have been such a good deal for me, shame like.

Don't know if you'll find stock at many places now though?
My local had loads at the time I bought, mainly because they didn't have the clearance SEL on

Yesterday I scanned the cd-r 50 discs @ £3.73,kodak too.

This is a duplicate post - previously posted 4 weeks ago...

Posted before none then none now.

Still available in Dudley and Willenhall.Have used 4 packs in the last month and haven't had a bad one.

already posted, old news. I would imagine its clearance item. All gone in my local tesco.

Go into device manager in your control panel and find out the specific name of your drive and then google it with the word 'firmware'.

A firmware update will sometimes update the drive to be compatible with a larger variety of discs.

Worth a try...

got 4 packs of these at boldock tesco extra last week at the bargain price, so far had no coasters in my duplicators.

Still full price at the Peterborough Extra store, took them to checkout & they scan at £17 odd

Thanks for that, had already done it.
Unfortunately it was already on the latest firmware. Even tried the latest version of the burning software I use and that didn't make a difference.

Thanks again and merry Christmas all :santa:

Still scanning at £17+ at Tesco Pitsea Extra:x

defgimp you might be better off looking for a modified firmware, have a look around and see whats available for your drive, sometimes the guys doing these also update the compatibility in the firmware, not very often, but it costs nothing to google
