I know these are good for the planet but I cannot be the only one that hates the feel of the paper straws especially when they go all soggy at the end 🤢!! Heat for the deal though. X

Is this enough to get through a large McDonalds milk shake

I gave up on the paper straw and had to slurp my milkshake.
Note to self...stock up on plastic straws.... most paper ones are not fit for purpose.
Just get a pack of metal straws and they'll last forever. Might be 50p per straw but if they get used a few hundred times who cares.

Same as batteriesbut batteries have a hugely bigger impact. Just get a ppack of reusables and they'll last forever, they're rated for like 1,000+ recharges. They're pricey but you don't need to buy them at once, I've bought like 8 at a time over a year and now have 24 which seems to be enough. I don't think i'll ever have to buy new ones again.

If you wanna suck on something long and hard, and pay for it. That’s your business.
Dont know why anyone will want to buy paper staws, they are awful.

Just buy metal staws, last a lot longer and they dont go soggy!
There saving the planet, then theres just stupid solutions to problems. Why not make the tops of cups at places like McDs paper, instead of the thing that actually comes into contact with liquid.

If people really don't want to use plastic straws at home, the stainless steel ones from amazon would be a much better option.

I knew there would be someone out there set on saving the world!
Waste of money, go stainless steel and don't look back
I've got a better deal, just drink directly from the glass for free!

A lot of dentist advise drinking through straws so that sugary or acidic drinks make less contact with your front teeth.

You actually increase your carbon footprint continually washing metal Straws. Plastic was better we just need to find away of stopping it ending up in the ocean.
People litter and it does make its way down the gutters and into the sea. Until there is a guarantee people stop littering (highly unlikely) I’d rather not encourage the sale of single use plastic straws. We go litter picking and it’s really annoying when we find plastic straws, cotton buds and bottles on the street. I already own a set of reusable straws that I wash and reuse but I bought these paper ones for my summer party. No plastic cups being used either

Don't talk twaddle, anything is better than a throw-away society. Stainless steel is re-usable, safe to use and just as good if not better than plastic straws....and anything is better than Paper straws

A 60 year could just as easily slip on the floor and break their neck.... do we blame metal straws on that as well?
Grow up

But if you really must then best to drink through a straw so the acidic drink makes less contact with your front teeth, a lot of people will not want to stop drinking such drinks just because the dentist has advised them....

The rechargeable batteries are costing me a fortune. My family keep throwing them away thinking they are normal ones.
