I hope not, haven't had any since last year Monday, though...
Never heard of these, are they ok to use? I heard people having issues with PSN credit bought from a site last week

Considering they're getting a kick back from this affiliate link that's not really a way to gauge it as it's biased to begin with

Why not just go through Google and get the deal that way? This deal could just be used as a heads up in that way then.

But who cares really, a deals a deal. The cheapest a £50 gift card has been recently.

I do but that has nothing to do with the original question or my point.

They were asking if the vendor could be trusted and I made the point that you can't base trust on the fact its posted on this site when they are motivated financially. They are no longer impartial when they stand to gain from this deal

Holding back until PS5 dunno what they will come up with when it comes to PSN+ memberships since they won’t be making much money on the console alone.

The guy has posted thousands of deals. I think the guy at least deserves something for that at least. Both people are practically benefitting.

Loads of people have posted deals from the website before though, with non affiliate links.

No its doesn't. They stand to gain financially from this deal so just because it's posted on here should not be taken as safe/reliable. They gain from this deal and any impartiality is out the window

Yes they gain money from it but why not, why is that a issue here? They remove posts from untrusted sites pretty much immediately so...

So? That doesn't add to any validity when they are financially motivated and receive compensation for posting these deals. They are motivated to post it to gain a commission off of the sale that people make. Does not mean the vendor can be trusted.

You're moaning now for the sake of moaning. So every person ever that's posted a deal from this website on here has solely did it out of financial gain then?

'untrusted' in their eyes or of vendors they do not have any affiliate deals with. They are motivated to post them because they are affiliated not because the vendor is trustworthy and just because it's posted here does not automatically mean they are trusted.

No, because people will post deals and then hotukdeals will come along after and insert affiliate links, or they post them directly themselves.

I'm simply highlighting that trust should not be assumed just because it's on this site. They are motivated by money first and foremost

You're saying to trust this site absolutely just because they post things here. It's ignorant, dangerous and misinformed

How else is the website supposed to make it's money for server costs, upkeep, etc though? They can't just just do it out of the kindness of their heart.

You're kinda missing the point here. People shouldn't take it for granted that every deal posted here is safe. 99.99% may be, but because vendors pay to have their deals posted, there is always an opportunity for an unscrupulous seller to pay a "small fee" in order to reap in dodgy sales.

Because of this, we should always consider the mantra of "buyer beware" and take necessary precautions before handing over our money.
Good price Buzz, heat added

Going by sellers feedback percentage and sales numbers is usually a good starting point to judge it. Personally with this site and probably the majority of others have never had a problem buying from it. Every deal like this you'll always have a good old fear mongering post or two, but it should be up to the people to judge themselves and buy or not.

Just checked for you, still seems to be working. Make sure you're selecting the seller 'Play Best'

Thanks for the deal. Just worth mentioning though that it went through as £41.48 and not the £40.01. It still didn’t cost £50 which is the important part though lol!
I wish I could trust strangers on the internet not to charge back or I would sell any PSN cards for 20% of the retail price myself!
