What a brilliant idea!

Thank you
Just use a sharpie!
My only concern is that it says they've sold over 107000. If I was making them you'd be waiting a long time lol
I've ordered these labels last year and they don't look great. They fade and after a few wash/dry cycles they shift on the material a bit and leave a smudge of glue. OK if you just need labels inside but our school requires some items to be labelled on the outside.
This is what I ordered this year, a bit more expensive but they look a lot better (darker, clearer text). Their durability remains to be seen.

i was tempted to buy stikins which are close to a tenner for but really no need... like another person said - permanent marker works best - no fuss and lasts all year

Iv'e had these before. I ended up binning most of them as they really were not great. Now I use Stikins or marker pen!
I work in a school and I've gotta say these labels are the cause of a lot of lost uniform! They either peel off or the name washes off of the actual label. Please use the silky ones with the red printed name on them, I know you have to sew them on but I promise they'll save you having to replace countless jumpers etc etc
Thanks mr gooner
We've used these for a couple of years with no issues at all. If you follow the instructions and keep washing temperatures reasonable they are absolutely fine.
No use to me as my kids names aren't megan jones, mary anne moore or steven parker
Thanks op. Order placed
I buy our labels from these:
ebay.co.uk/usr…754
highly recommend them.

They have survived many washes. I actually had to rip the labels off and stick over the top of these after 2 years of use to re-label as hand me down spares for the next sibling (secondary school uniform surprisingly lasted well). The thing I like best about these guys is they will let you split your order over 3 names which is quite handy for parents who have a lot of kids in school.

Handy for me however, my first born happens to be called "Woven Labels UK".
These are great. Have been using for several years now
Not a hot deal, nor particularly cheap, but if you're wanting a more fun name tag your kids love and which will stay on, try My Nametags:
mynametags.com
All the kids schools clothes came back this year (hooray!) and the labels still look like new after a year of washing (also sticks to non-clothes items, such as water bottles). No ironing or stitching required.
Go through Quidco or TCB for 10% cashback too.
Bought with my brother's name printed, thank you.

He's 47 years old. The next time I stay with him, after he goes to bed, I'm going to secretly stick them in his coat, work clothes, socks, pants: everything. For the fun of it
I have been really disappointed with these. I wish I knew about these comments. I stuck these on next day had most of em come off.

In case anyone's interested, the labels I ordered (linked in previous comment) haven't turned out great. They LOOK good but a month later after a usual routine of washing machine/dryer, some of them are falling off.
The ones in the original deal are still stuck on after a year of use! (despite fading)
