HATE swarovski....bought 4 (full priced) items off them a couple of years ago. Didnt wear them often and after 6 months the 'silver' on all of them tarnished bronze....when I took them back to the store they said the 'base metal' wasnt insured or covered under the guarantee.
I admit the items look cool but they arent worth the boxes the're presented in.

I've had good service from them - the crystal had become loose, and they were more than happy to replace it for me. Maybe that's because the crystal WAS insured. Anyway, I've got an anniversiary coming up, and this is a better option than diamond considering my bank balance and current economic climate :p!

yeah they told me the only things guaranteed were the crystals....so didnt offer me anything when all the silver just peeled off....cant remember what they said the base metal was but they are only silver plated....I wouldnt like to get a present of this for anything that means something, would just be more annoying when it 'breaks'

You do sound as if you have had a bad experience with them! If it's anything to go by, I think that the plating is rhodium.

No idea why this is cold, as with everything, some people will have good and bad experiences with anything they buy. If you are going to vote cold, a reason would be nice. As detailed earlier, I've found the products to be good, and service good. Albeit the problem with a losse crystal, this was resolved and repaired quickly.

Voted hot - bought a lovely stocking filler for the missus. :santa:

A bit early for Christmas?! :-D

Fell in love with a pair of earrings for my Mum - then discovered £4.45 postage !!! for a pair of earrings!!!!! What a rip -off

A bit early, the wardrobe in the back bedroom is already full of presents. First ones were bought Xmas eve off amazon - luxury choc fondue with cermaic dishes etc. £16 down to £4. Max 2 per person - so bought 2, twice. That's the four adult friends presents bought on xmas eve for £16.

All courtesy of HOTUKD - what's the point in scouring this site if you don't take full advantage of it.

Great find - H&R added.
