£50 SKY OFFER IF YOU PAY BY DIRECT DEBIT NEW AND EXISTING CUSTOMERS

If you have a bank account which gives you cashback on purchases then you may have had a offer of £50 cashback if you pay by direct debit. The way this works is you simply go online and change over your direct debit to the account this offer is showing on. Usually it says 2-3 Direct Debits before payment is confirmed. Once the required payments have been taken you can then move the direct debit to another account that is offerring the same. You can continue doing this as long as you have a account that pays this offer.

How do you know which banks are doing the offer?
Banks in their mobile apps will have offers. For example Santander will have it under Retailer Offers in their app. Lloyds will have it as Everyday Offers and then natwest will have it under other offers etc.
What if you already pay by DD?
I don't get how to apply this? I have Santander 123 account and I have Sky already. What do i need to do?
If you already a sky Direct Debit active then you wont get this offer. It will only be there if you do not have a active Sky Direct Debit.

Switch the DD to the bank with the offer?

If you already have a DD on that account, perhaps opting in to the offer, cancelling the DD (making sure you don't miss a payment!) and starting a new DD would trigger it?

Dont cancel the Direct Debit just go into your sky account and change the bank details.

If you already have the DD from Sky on that bank account then you will not qualify for the deal. Cancelling the DD and starting again would appear as a new DD and should hopefully mean you qualify. So far as I am aware, changing it on Sky from same bank details to same bank details wouldn't have the same affect? Happy for others if it does though.
You need to change your Direct Debit to another bank account altogether. This may then prompt the offer to appear on your Santander account ?
does sky even offer contracts if you don't pay by direct debit?
They should but most probably come with a additional monthly admin. Ask them

What I do, I got Sky TV cashback £50 at Halifax for Sky Broadband D/D as the only “Sky Digital” DD that stipulates different on the DD origin description is “Sky Mobile”. Switched Broadband DD from TSB to Halifax. £50 at the end of April

Have a account that doesn’t do rewards with all your DDs and swap it over when a offer comes up swap back after cashback payment #AUBERGINE

You usually aren’t offered it if you have a DD or recent previous, if it does show then yes move DD for one month and then as soon as paid change it back to original account - most allow 2/3 months minimum after you have selected the cashback offer.

You need to leave the direct debit in place for the time specified in the offer.
