hot

worth it just for the txt & data

unlimited data = 500MB only check terms.

not really "fair" usage if you ask me.

All I can say is... bye bye vodapony!

This is a good deal, recommended this to a workmate, who loves it. Be aware though, the `unlimited` does have fair usage limits.

Terms & Conditions:-

If your tariff includes unlimited calls, texts, web & data, a fair use policy will apply, monthly data allowance 500MB. iPhone tariffs include 1GB of data.

Unlimited and flat rate calls and texts are to 01, 02, 03 and UK mobiles only, chargeable calls/text to these numbers are 20p per minute.

SIM Only: rolling contract.

Other network phones may be locked - see tescomobile.com for unlocking details.

08 maximum call cost 20ppm. 070 personal numbers maximum call cost 50ppm.

Existing customers call 2708 to switch tariff.

@ badger... 500 is plenty for me as I only really want it for email and the odd cheat on quiz night. You're absolutely right though about "unlimited" statements. Something needs to be done sharpish about all this advertising false limits.

That said, if people take the time to check a deal like this could suit them to the ground... Myself included!

Been posted 100 times already

i m still on that plan from Tesco - just a few things I want to share...

- internet somehow very unsteady - they say it is becoz of my E71...i doubt that cuz I was on O2 before and never have problem.
- no call divert - they say they are working on it.
- no BIS - Mmmm....5 Pounds on top if you want the service

this deal has been around since september and got very hot when it was first posted but now it is old news...it was actually superceeded by the T mobile offer (600 min, 500 texts, unlimited landlines calls and 3GB of internet all for £7.50)...I went for the tesco deal and cancelled 2 months later to take the T mobile offer

there is people who still dont know about this deal - give the OP a break, he/shes taken time to post the deal and deals can be re-posted over a month old.

hot from me

tesco mobile is crap u go overthe 500 minutes u pay 20p per min for a call!

Giff Gaff all the way for me. 250 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited data. £10/month. O2 network, no contract.

No call waiting either which is a big issue for me.
Whats BIS by the way

BIS is the blackberry internet service, they don't offer this service which is also why I've not transferred to them.

What does the "1 month contract mean". If you spend £10 can use the 500 mins over [say] 3 months. Or do you have to use 500 mins in a single month?

stay well away from them they are a terrible company, just do a search for any review on them before you buy anything!

Sam, whats the T mobile deal, where can I find it, 3GB data, that's unheard of, I'll be getting that for my daughter thats spent £15 this month on a PAYG with t mobile, would be awesome.

What does it mean with one month contract? If it has to be renewed every month, how likely are you to be getting the same deal later?

Wheres the T-mobile deal?
Thanks.

it means your tied to it for 1 month, if you want to cancel and go somewhere else u need to give 30 days notice, hence "1 month"

no, it means that you can cancel whenever. you only have to stay for a month, unlike a 12 month contract where you have to stay for 12 months. so you get the same deal every time until you want to cancel and go somewhere else

the monthly minutes or usage will only be for a month no matter what contract you are on, the terms as to 1 month contract or 12 month contract are how long you are tied in with the network provider. with a 1 month contract you have the freedom giving your cancellation notice after 1 month of taking out contract whereas with a 12 month contract thats the minimum term you would need to keep the contract for,
hope that helps soled73

I've avoided Tesco mobile because of the "unlimited" internet. I know all networks say call their internet "unlimited" but if you go over this 500mb fair use limit with Tesco mobile, they can charge you a ridiculous £4/mb! (whereas t-mobile will not charge you at all for going over but may restrict your use at peak times).

Anyone know if the good t-mobile deals are still available?
(at the moment, I'm only getting 300mins, 300 txts, + internet for £15/month)

Never had a problem with Tesco mobile in nearly 2 yrs with them , Tesco have let me down once but that was soon sorted .

For every negative their will be a positive so your comments are a little too harsh .

Just waiting for Tesco Mobile to come back onto Quidco!

This has been posted before but its still a great deal for light mobile phone users.

Excellent if you're like me and mostly use your phones internet over wifi and checking the odd bit of news, footy scores and email over mobile internet.

Any ideas why Tesco also sell an iPhone Sim only which is £15 and you only get 250 mins? I assume you can use this £10 sim on the iphone?

The missus is on tesco mobile and hasnt had any problems. I cant wait for my 24month contract to finally end in sept so i can jump on a cheaper (eg Tesco) deal...

If the T-Mobile deal is still going, and so relevent, please point us to it.

Good deal. But there is NO company in the UK that offers UNLIMITED data, despite what they all claim.

Even giffgaff that people love are sending me texts saying 'You have used over 100MB today, please stop or we will have to cut off your service'

Gits.

Put my daughter onto this a few months ago as she was kicking the backside of her PAYG SIM. Had no problems whatsoever changing to this, and she barely scratches the surface of what she's entitled to.
No problems with Tesco at all and ported her number over from Orange with no hassle.
Excellent deal, was then and still is.

sorry to all the guys who have been asking about the T mobile deal as i was away from the computer...the deal was available for one weekend in october for over the phone orders (it got boiling hot when posted on HUKD). it was repeated for another weekend few weeks later...I think now the rate is £10 for that deal which is not bad considering you get 3 GB of data and if you exceed that they will only slow down your connection in comparison with Tesco who will charge you massively for exceeding your allowance. by the way it is 12 months sim only contract

this is a link for the deal when it was posted twice before
