Sadly they have stopped doing the 3 for 2 deal they are apparently trying to focus on " year round low prices" . They put out a press release about it a few weeks ago. Total mistake as people will just go elsewhere. Its no wonder the argos near me is like a ghost town.

You'll know when they do as they put the prices up when it happens. Then make it look like a good deal when on 3 for 2.Keep an eye on something you want then watch it go up on the 3for2

Do you have the link to press release? A few time i have seen people ask argos helpers on twitter if they are doing 342 and some have said they dont have info on any future proms and some have said they plan on doing it in the future but not sure when.

Annoyingly I cant find it having had a quick Google sorry. Cant remember if it was on Twitter or Facebook that iwas shown it. They had a 3 for 2 every September (that's when I was shown the statement) for years and then this year nothing. I did find this on there site argos.co.uk/eve…oys . I hope they do bring it back but i won't be holding my breath. Sorry again for not being much help.

You used to be able to get toys already reduced 50% in the 3 for 2.

Argos decided this was wrong, so started ending sales before the 3 for 2 started.

This lead to accusations it was a con. It wasnt, just common sense, but im sure Argos are put off by the bad publicity.

Thats ok. We always do our kids 3 for 2. They normally do it in 1st week of Nov. Ill hold out and if not will use amazon. Think they will lose alot of business if they scrap it.
this looks account specific as i dont have that offer - i have 1000 if i buy a tv
Thanks for posting @KatsudonVince we have added your thread to the Highlights section

Yeah I remember a lot of blow back last year about that. So much for there being no such thing as bad publicity.

I think its something also to do with last year's bad press. They put toys at 1/2 price or a lower price, which then got raised before 3 for 2 began.

Basically the usual Argos spend £50 get a fiver voucher deal.
Sainsburys toy sale starts on the 16th so might be worth popping in as most big stores have an argos in
