Trouble Shooting GuideNo picture on TVMake sure the item is not plugged into both the PC and the TV at the same time, as this needs to just be plugged into the TV for Media Player mode to functionWill not play certain files in Media Player mode, although they function fine on the PCThis would be down to the file type. This can only function with DVD, DivX 3.11/4.x/5.x, Xvid, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 files. The reason these will work on the PC is down to the Codecs being available on the PC (the Media Player can only function with above file types)

Not sure why there are so many cold votes, looks like a pretty good deal
Xbox with xbmc is a slightly cheaper alternative, but some people like a straight out of the box solution.

Maybe some think its just a HDD?

Seems a decent deal to me to.

I suspect because it's cheaper to buy a separate media player enclosure such as scan.co.uk/Pro…617 for £34.06 and a hard drive such as scan.co.uk/Pro…030 for £42.05.

Total price (assuming you have free deilvery from Scan) £76.11.

That makes this a very cold deal indeed.

Hi,so are all these type of Media players all the same, whatever price you Pay?

Cheers BOB
