Did I mention Quidco 5% yet?

Right to get this price you need to buy £20.01 of other goods on this site then use the £50 off £200 code. WSAVE50. Or get this one for £10 more bargaincrazy.com/ele…523

How about socks or anything else you need?

What you get is:

•This is a refurbished product and comes with our full 12 month guarantee. All products have been thoroughly tested for faults by Service Care who are an independent company that specialise in refurbishing electrical goods to “as new” or “graded” condition. Basically a new computer which some gran has sent back. Even got Windows 8.

Why is £130 for a new Windows 8 computer in any way pathetic?

New?

Excellent deal for a perfectly workable home machine for word processing, internet browsing etc. Personally I'd format the thing and give it a clean Windows 7 installation, not least because Packard Bell (certainly historically) are up there with HP in terms of preinstalled bloatware.

Certainly not to be sniffed at

New?

I've had 2 PCs from BD now and they both arrived new, ie you would simply not understand they were refurbs.

Refurb implies they are like a secondhand car or something.

In fact they are generally just computers where some user has opened the box and sent it back unused.

My right to comment as a member of this site...I looked as if it was that price it would be a bargain but it isn't is it?

This is not a deal, you have to spend another £20.01 to get £50 off plus delivery charge of £3.95 that comes out at £150+ in my book. Straight forward deal at £129.99 this is a bargain but it is not £129.99 and no matter how you dress it up it never will be IMHO, it is a pathetic attempt at getting a deal.

I hate Windows too. I think it is malware.

I would like a WIndows PC though to play Silent Hunter 4 and Battle for Middle Earth. Of course, the fact that I have paid Microsoft about 6 times for Windows and have 3 boxes with COA stickers on them doesn't mean a thing because none of the recovery disks recognize the updated systems they came from.

The world bought his products because .... other pieces of software required Windows to run.
